I am so impressed with the performance. We live in a bungalow and shut the doors to the bedrooms and Sons lounge in order to benefit from our log burner in the rest of the house, without switching the central heating on. After pouring over reviews I decided that for under £20 it was worth a shot to take the chill off the bedroom.It heats the 12ft x 10ft room and our home is over 100 yrs old so thermal properties are poor. Unlike the 2kw heaters it stays in the green on my smart meter.It is small, quiet and stylish and when I tried it in my Sons lounge rather than giving it half hour to warm the bedroom. He too was really impressed, and could quickly turn it down to the lower setting to maintain the temperature and use even less energy. That is his sole heat and it is toastie. If knocked or picked up, it immediately turns itself off for safety.I have ordered a second one to use up in the loft/hobby room and use in the bedroom, now that my Son has claimed it!I wasn't expecting it to be so efficient and economical. Much cheaper than leaving the central heating on and heating rooms while not in use. Price had gone up after only 1 day, so keep an eye open for offers.Highly recommend.

Up: It produces plenty of lovely hot air quickly,, it is light, and is not ugly to look at. It has a trigger button so that if it falls over it cuts out the fan for safety.Neutral: - cable is reasonably short; there - only two settings for heatDown - if you're trying to set it up on an uneven surface such as a carpet, it's awkward to set it up so the trigger button is active. While not very loud, it makes a noticeable amount of noise.Conclusion - Good value for its price point; you get a reasonable product for what you pay for;

Great little heater for small to medium rooms. Because it's only 800 or 1200 Watts it is cheaper to run than the usual small fan heaters. Probably not as quick to heat a room but does the job and you can point it at you, without burning yourself. I use it on the floor mostly, though occasionally on a work surface. It doesn't get too hot so carpets and delicate surfaces should be fine. The only thing I'm not so keen on its the noise. It's not loud but can be intrusive when you need quiet. I use it in my studio sometimes and I have to switch it off for recording and critical listening. Not a problem for most people of course. If you knock it over it switches off, which is a good safety feature. The switch on the back is slightly annoying. It would be easier and more accessible if it were on the top. Otherwise very happy.

Pros: This heater is diddy, about the height of 2 coke cans stacked upon each other. It is audible but in no way loud, easily drowned out by normal conversation.Cons: To get any benifit from this heater you need to be within 3 feet of it, the fan is underwhelming at best and switching to the hotter setting effects the heat but not the fan speed. 30 minutes of this heating a cold bedroom made little appreciable difference.I'd suggest this is not a space heater at all, it's best use is for short term up close and personal warming for during clothes changing or after showering etc.Ps. My heater has a rattle, like there's a loose piece of plastic or solder inside it, bit concerning.

Plugged it in and there was no heat coming out for minutes, just a light on and a smell. Tried switching on a second time and there was a flash and loud bang and it died blowing the fuse with it.

After reading all the reviews I thought I'd give this stylish heater a go. Bought for my 10 x 10 conservatory which gets like Antarctica during the winter months and was really impressed. After wiping condensation from windows and switching on, it heats up in no time, still able to enjoy reading in comfort!
