Anise oil adds more flavor than extract and doesn’t water down the cookie dough, so there’s no need to add more flour. A superior choice all around. I have used this brand in past years and it is good. Plan to use both bottles in each batch but taste test the dough before adding the second bottle. Your batch may be smaller than my recipe.

We buy anise oil to make pizzelles, an Italian cookie. This is very hard to find locally and usually one bottle is more expensive than what we paid for two. The shipment arrived a day early, was securely packaged and fresh and delivered the taste we always have expected. We'd buy from this seller again.

This strong pure anise oil is used in traditional biscotti, pfeffernusse and Springerle cookies. A little goes a long way! So two small bottles make sense to keep the flavoring fresh and buy only what you need. Note: this oil will melt plastic, including the bowl of a food processor. (Tip: Mix it w a little batter then add back to the bowl.)

Used for cookies but need to be stronger I put 1 bottle in pizells and not enough flavor . Maybe I’ll put 2 in them

This was not a good purchase at all. The product is an oil which came to me in a solid form, I dont know if the oil was frozen or if it was so old it crystalized. What are you going to do about it.

I use Anise Oil for Pizzelles that I make for the holidays, including Easter and Christmas and on occasion for a wedding cookie request. I use it fairly often and hate to run out of it so I try to buy in quantity. I'm from the north originally where you can go to the local pharmacies and buy it but now living in the south is a bit difficult. I was definitely pleased with this buy and will buy again.

If you bake cookies or any other item that needs the flavoring, anise, this flavoring is perfect. I suggest storing it in a cool dry place until you need to use it in your recipe. I will use this again. It is my preferred brand when I need anise flavoring.

Don't know if these are supposed to have crystals in them.

I purchased this to make licorice ice cream. Makes the ice cream oily and quite disgusting. Not sure what it can be used for , but definitely not ice cream.

l'arome est vraiment tres prononce alors il faut ajuster la dose ...pour les biscuits...je n'ai pas ete en mesure de le faire et le gout etait trop fort

This was the perfect candy to make the Italian Christmas Cookies. I am glad Amazon sells it. Amazon logo is correct they do have everything form A to Z
