Macks Aqua Block Ear Plugs

I have been having some issues with my ears recently and my doctor recommended wearing ear plugs for swimming and bathing - I did some research online and the Macks were highly rated, I can see why! I have tried many different brands of ear plugs and found that they either fit poorly or did not function as intended - not keeping water out of my ears. The Macks fit perfectly in my ear and they form a slight vacuum, they keep water out when I am swimming and they do not fall out neither. They are so comfortable to wear and I forget they are there, they do not feed odd when in my ears like some. There are 2 x pairs of ear plugs in the pack - they come with a small plastic storage container so you can see them securely stored away when not in use. The plugs are re-usable and are made from a soft silicone material which can easily be cleaned. These are excellent quality; they really do work and are the best, I highly recommend them - they are also fantastic value for money!

I use these for recreational swimming (i.e steady lengths up and down the local pool). I have no problem in carefully putting them in my ears and removing them before and after use. They fit well into my ears, are comfortable to wear, and so far have not come out in use. They are virtually 100% water-tight and have completely prevented earlier problems associated with water in the ears after swimming. Whilst they cut down noise considerably I can still just about hear what I choose to listen to. The clear box in which they come is useful. And if I lose one or even two (not happened yet) I still have a set of two. In purple, if one did come out in the water I would stand a chance of seeing it. For good ear hygiene I am careful to use the box before and after use to avoid them getting dirty and I would recommend washing the plugs in warm soapy water from time to time. I would recommend them.

These are awesome. Been using twice a week for lap swimming in an indoor pool for the past year and so far no issues at all. Great product!

They do work however if not used to ear plugs they do feel strange as they are very flimsy (but work). For me not being used to any ear plugs I thought they would be harder, but they are soft silicon and do stick out quite far. However definitely worked and I guess the fact they are so flimsy makes them suitable for all ear shapes and comfortable. Worth a try at the cost

I bought these earplugs after extensive online research and also refusing to pay £55 for custom-made equivalents. They seem well made and the bright purple I am hoping means that they will be less easy to lose/forget in the changing rooms. They were bought for my 5-year-old son who had been suffering from painful 'water in the ear' problems in the last year or so. He was happy to give them a go which was not guaranteed as he like most 5 year olds, can be fussy/melodramatice about anything new/unfamiliar. I let him put them in so that [a] he felt in control and [b] I could gauge how far he wanted then to be pushed in without hurting. Well in the initial test, they stayed in place and we had no water-in-the-ears problem. Quite importantly, he could still hear us when spoken to ... something I was unsure of when we made the purchase. So, in summary, so far so good, although I keep expecting them to fall out. They havent as yet.

My boyfriend suffers with eczema in his ears which causes ear infections and his GP advised him to buy some ear plugs like these. He used them a couple of times in the pool whilst on holiday and they seemed to work, no water got in to his ear. He had a slight ear infection at the time already but they kept the water at bay and therefore stopped the infection from getting any worse. The ear plugs are made of silicone or something alike and so are soft and easy to insert in to the ear. We found that twisting them in seemed to be the best way to ensure no water got in. My boyfriend said they were comfortable to wear and he couldn't even feel they were in there! We found the best way to pull them out is to squeeze the sides together (if that makes sense?) so it basically releases the air lock that's been created. They also come with a hard plastic case so you won't lose them whilst they're in your bag etc. My boyfriend is very happy with them and he will always use them while swimming from now on. Used these last week in my swimming session and they held well in my ears and did it's job properly. Received 2 pairs in a plastic box. However I think they are expensive. Could have cut the cost by removing the plastic box or supplying with couple more. I'm keeping one set inside my swimming goggles box anyway.

I have suffered with horrific persistent reoccurring ear infections for many years before finding these ear plugs. I use them in the shower, the bath and when swimming and I haven't (touch wood) had a single ear infection since the day I started using them, which has been over 18 months. I used to have ear infections bi-monthly and suffered for about 12 years. They fit well, they don't let any water in, they are comfortable and easy to keep clean. They're soft and you hardly notice you're wearing them. I tried another brand but they were painful as they were more rigid. The three little bands enable a snug fit in your ear.

Inhad perforated ear drums , one ear inhad my surgery done one year ago another ear surgery is still due this year, howwrver i wanted to learn swiming and doctor said if only i manage to keep my ears dry, its been 10 days since i have been using this and dont doubt buy this, best plugs i have purchased in my life. I dont write reviews this product is exceptionally good and i had to write a review for others

Je les utilise depuis des années en tant que personne autiste pour réduire le niveau sonore ambiant, quasiment 24/7. Mon canal auditif est petit, très peu de bouchons entrent dedans. Ils tiennent très bien et sont ultra durables. Je les ébouillante chaque soir et nettoie avec de l'alcool régulièrement. En bonus, pas besoin de changer de bouchons pour aller à la piscine. La tige a un trou qui convient aux lacets de souliers, idéal quand on doit les enlever, mais qu'on n'a pas d'endroit où les ranger... Sincèrement, je prie qu'ils ne discontinuent pas ce produit...

Sinceramente me sorpendieron gratamente. Hasta ahora estaba usando tapones de cera para la piscina, que moldeo y aprieto en el oído pero no estaba del todo contento ya que aunque no me entraba agua notaba que se mojaba el oído. Decidí probar estos mack's por el tipo de tapón que era, diferente a los que estaba usando. Son de silicona muy suaves y agradables. Lo metes en el oído y empiezas a empujar poco a poco hasta que consideras que no se sale. El oído queda totalmente sellado y te despreocupas de que se te pueda caer o que te entre agua. No molestan nada, la verdad que son una maravilla, los recomiendo 100%. Lo compré a un precio muy bueno de 6€, lo que sale a 3€ el par (vienen 2 pares). Vienen en una cajita de plástico para guardarlos aunque preferiría una caja individual más pequeña para poder llevar el par que vayas a usar a la piscina. Subo 2 fotos del producto.
