My ice maker stopped over christmas have been trying customer service for a week but to no avail. i hear rumours of administration - warranty useless!

They did not reply or acknowledge reciept of our non functional ice maker. Amazon refunded the cost of the machine but it cost me approx £16 in non refunded postage. I hope nobody else buys anything off Andrew James as they seem to have no after care service

Hi, some customers have mentioned an ice crusher, is this a function on the machine?

I’m one of the customers who mentioned an ice crusher. The machine doesn’t come with one. I bought mine separately. It’s the Andrew James ice crusher and it works well with the ice from this machine. It’s a reasonable price and it’s the same colour as the ice machine.

My ice machine has stopped making ice says ice full only a year old really disappointed with this item

I had the same problem with the 'ice full' light coming on.....read this guide, cleaned the sensor (which took about 20 seconds....barley looks like a sensor, just a clear dot one side and a black dot the other so hadn't even noticed them before) and now its working fine again.

What wattage does it draw? I want to use it on a boat with 8KVA generator.

It depends a little on the external temperature. On initial stage of the ice making it draws around 40-100w for a few seconds. This then drops to around 10w for the majority of the time.
