Pros: - Individual switches makes turning off items much more easier than pulling the plug (so to speak) - The stitches have a nice smooth movement. Not stiff like some other brands. You can tell they are good quality switches - surge protected to save your electrical items Cons: - None. Especially as I got these whilst they were on an offer so they offered very good value for money. I hope you find this review helpful.

I have a double electric socket next to my bed but this was not sufficient. I have numerous appliances which I use regularly - electric blanket, radio, TV, floor lamp, table lamp & portable heater - and I was constantly plugging and unplugging things. There was also a complete tangle of cables. This is a sturdy, good quality extension lead. I have plugged in all of my various appliances and now only need to switch on those which I am using at any particular time. I also had the idea of using my Dymo machine to create labels for each electric plug. This had made life much easier. I can now see at a glance what each plug is for. I thought this extension lead was so handy I have bought another to use under my desk so that I can plug in my laptop, printer, desk lamp, phone charger etc, etc. Again I have labelled each plug.

I have previously bought the Masterplug Surge Protected, individually switched, 6 gang power bar. I'm so pleased with the quality & peace of mind, I've now purchased another (4 gang this time) for my Dad to protect his new Samsung 4K TV. This is much cheaper than getting in an electrician to install more plug sockets. I have a modern electric installation with surge/circuit breakers (whatever they're called), however, it's great to have that extra peace of mind Surge Protection from Masterplug when plugging in hundreds of £'s of gadgets. Well worth the money. You can even register the Masterplug online and receive free protection of gadgets plugged in, up to the value of £1000, AWESOME 😇😎

I can recommend this to you as a good thing, it does its job well and despite the other reviews which complain about the aesthetics of the item i find no fault in it. It does it's job. Why is it not five stars? Because it is a plug bar and it arrived in good time and in good order. It doesn't do anything other than what it is supposed to do so it offers nothing that makes it exceptional which a five star rating would deserve but it is still a good thing.

I bought one of these a couple of years ago for connecting everything thats on my desk - desktop PC, speakers, lamp, phone charging system, printer, Amazon Echo. I just got a small fish tank for my desk too and so bought another of these to handle the lighting, heating and filtration for that. Being able to switch the plugs off individually is very useful for me, instead of having to pull out the plugs for the filter and heater when doing a water change I can just hit these switches. The fact the switches are illuminated is great so I can very easily see them and see what is on and what is not. These units have a couple of recesses in the back for hanging them on a couple of partially driven in screws. I've made use of these to mount them both on the underside of my desk out of view. The price here at around £12 for 6 surge protected sockets with individual switches is pretty great. You can maybe get something similar for cheaper from China but even then you'd be hard pressed to find anything. I wouldn't want to buy anything as critical as this from China anyway, better to be safe

Seems to be a good price for an extension cable with six sockets, each one with a switch, and also has surge protection. Good length cable too. Seems good quality and I think Masterplug is a good brand. Would recommend this.

This is a great extension lead with 6 outlets, each switchable and with surge protection. Really hand are the socket switch lights when the outlet is on. most my extension leads are non switchable, but having switches is very handy, as you can control which sockets are continuously live and which ones you want off without having to unplug and then plug back in. Solid construction and also manufactured by a known brand and with certified safety markings

It cost a bit more than some similar ones but based on reviews the others have a lot more issues and are lower quality. I have had it in use for a short time now and it works as it should. The switches feel really good like they will last. Based on initial impressions I can recommend it!
