Good product, good price
Use in a 20 year old magnifying circlite bench lamp in my workshop. Broke the last tube with the recoil of a solder extractor gun, but got this quickly and at a sensible price. Worked first time, good steady light, nice daylight colour (useful for reading resistor colour bands, true colours).

Good bulb - but too bright!
I really like the bulb and it is as advertised... daylight!But as the rest of my lighting is warm white 3000K, and this is really bright daylight, it really stands out.Perfect bulb if you're looking for a daylight bulb! (my mistake - I needed warm white!)

Cheap Substitute for All But the Most Critical Needs
I have a magnifier that is laboratory quality and the replacement tubes were exceedingly expensive. I no longer have any need for top specification items so I tried this. Much better than merely adequate if slightly cold in colour temperature but perfectly suitable for any task apart from examining items where true colour is critical. Unless you examine original paintings or coloured gems this will ne the ideal substitute for most critical needs

Very Slow to light
I bought this to replace an earlier one. Sadly, it is faulty. When switched on, it glows like a nightlight. It does eventually get to normal brightness but only after a long delay. Today I timed it. After 5 minutes it still had not lit up, so useless for my bathroom. I hesitate to buy another which may be similar. So I have to be content with a faint glow or switch it on 15 minutes before I need some light!

well packed as these are delicate
As the unit has not broken I replaced the tube. Rating is very greedy power consumption - less impact on environment if access to older tube units allows longer term use of equipment. I will re-order as long as tubes remain available thank you for the care taken packing this item for me
