Ursprünglich dachte ich, dass meine Airpods Pro im Jahr 2023 ausreichen müssten für Onlinemeetings unterwegs. Allerdings gab es da immer wieder stark schwankende Mikro-Leistung und Hintergrundgeräusche. Also habe ich dieses Headset bestellt. Damit bin ich in einer völlig anderen Welt gelandet.Das Headset hat eine super Sprachverständlichkeit (Mikro) auch in lauten Umgebungen. Zum Testen bin ich in ein Cafe gegangen: Hintergrundmusik, Hall vom großen Raum und um mich herum sprechende Personen. Die resultierende Aufnahme der MS Teams Session hat keinerlei Hintergrundgeräusche. Sollte sich also gut für Umgebungen unterwegs oder in lauten Büros eignen. Das Headset lässt sich auch ohne die Call Control (das Steuerteil) nutzen, falls man unterwegs noch ein paar Gramm sparen möchte. Geliefert wird es mit einer Filztasche, in der man es gut verstauen kann, bevor man es z.B. in den Rucksack legt.Vor- und Nachteil ist natürlich das Kabel. Drahtlos wäre für manche Zwecke besser, aber so kann ich alle drahtlosen Fehlerquellen ausschließen und habe eine stabile und super verständliche Sprach-Verbindung.Musik kann man durchaus auch damit hören. Die Ohrauflagen dämpfen Umgebungsgeräusche "mechanisch". Nach meinem Verständnis gibt es aber kein ANC oder ähnliches. Meines Erachtens braucht es das auch nicht. Es ist eher gut, dass man sich selbst noch sprechen hört und damit weniger laut spricht. Das "Hear Through" (Sprachwiedergabe vom Mikrofon direkt auf den Ohren) kann man auch etwas höher stellen, wenn man in öffentlichen Umgebungen nicht so schreien möchte (weil man sich selbst sonst nicht hört wg. Ohrendämpfung).

My son has just started working from home as part of a help desk team, he had to supply most of his own equipment and while his headset was ok it wasn't as good as it should be for such a roll, I ordered this to help him out and I'm glad that I did, as he loves it.On opening, I tested this first on my MacBook Pro, I had to use a USB adapter to go from USB-A to USB-C but I always keep at least one of those to hand anyway. Once plugged in my laptop recognised it straight away with no installations or drivers required. I already had Teams installed which we used a lot over the lockdown period so that was ready for testing with this headset.The actual headset fits very nicely and feels comfortable and light to wear, along the cable is a control unit which is used to quickly and easily change the volume, mute the microphone and has a dedicated teams button for a quick connection.When using this device, the sound and voices come through extremely clear with no crackling or hissing as I get with some other headsets and the noise cancelling microphone is nothing short of amazing, it pretty much blocks everything out from the background whilst at the same time making my voice crisp and clear to hear at the receivers end.I gave this to my son to use with his Windows laptop for his work and he has now been using it for around three weeks. He tells me that it is brilliant for his job, he can hear everyone clearly and they have no problems in hearing everything that is said. He doesn't use Teams all of the time but on the occasions that he needed to this connected immediately with just the slight delay from his laptop which is pretty much normal for Windows, lol. He now wouldn't want to be without this headset and it is making his work from home so much easier than when using his old cheaper equipment.Overall, this unit is of a top quality with clear and precise audio and an amazing noise cancelling ability.Recommended.

Noise cancellation isn’t great. It hurts the ears after few hours.
