Tasty x
Well not what I expected. As I didn't read the information I thought these would of been like the scampi Smiths. But I'm glad I didn't read as I wouldn't of bought them. They have a great texture and flavour is lovely and get better the more you have. They cost is excellent even if you buy when not on ofter xx we'll done and thank you.

Delicious….. not all though??
I purchased these as I’d tried a packet I seen in supermarket. I loved them so much I purchased more here. Weirdly the first ‘sheet’ I opened the packet and there was just no flavour. The other 7 packets were the same. I was so disappointed ☹️ However….. I opened the 2nd ‘sheet’ and every pack had been delicious like the first packet I tried. I fell in love again. They were soooo tasty. I’m not sure if it was just a blip but I’m apprehensive about buying again?? When they’re good they’re soooo good

Horrible. Full of salt.
Usually buy another well now brant of scampy fries; but this brand is new to me, so I thought I would give these a try. From the first bite these made me gag; they are packed with a massive 8.1 grams of salt per100 grams of product. They taste nothing like fish/scampy or, in fact, anything except salt, salt, and more salt with a sharp citric acid after tase. Eating more than one packet of these, I think, would give a person salt poisoning. Made me feel sick. Out of eight packs on the card one packet was damaged, resulting in the fries being stale. The texture in the mouth is not nice either. Dry, scratchy and the look of these reminds me of badger droppings. These are a new product according to the shpiel on the website. Blinking awful. They went in the bin. Wasted nearly ten quid on this s... This is a genuine review; these should not have been marketed.

Tasteless
The reviews suggested it was a good alternative to Scampi Fries - in short it is not.No taste at all. Not just weak taste but no taste other than that of corn from which it is made.Packaging was also poor with many of the bags falling apart.Would get zero if that was an option.

Not a rival to Scampi Fries
Agree with the others. Nothing like the original and best Scampi Fries. That’s not a bad thing though as these are just different. Lighter in texture, less maize tasting and shape and feel of a fried pork scratching, though obviously not that flavour. Taste wise, they have a good seasoning, yes salty and yes quite strong but who wants an insipid bar snack? I’ll happily eat a bag of these every so often. BTW have Smiths killed Cheese Moments? I truly hope not......

Not my first choice of scampi and lemon crisps
These are ok, nothing special, and not really a patch on other scampi and lemon flavoured products. Perfectly acceptable, but I very much doubt would purchase again. There are other scampi and lemon snacks that I much prefer, however, these are a nicely presented, and perfectly acceptable product

really rather nice
tip top, really rather lovely! Not the same as scampi fries but if you want scampi fries, buy them. Literally, Amazon sell them. These on the other hand are NGCI (so not officially gluten free, but nor do they have any gluten ingredients), are tangy and really rather moreish. I’ll be buying more!

Less flavour now
I'm not comparing these to other similar snacks, but I've bought these Openshaw crisps on several occasions in the past and they've always had far more flavour than the delivery I received last week, pretty disappointing considering the premium price you pay.
