I needed a new clock to mount on the wall in my garage/work shop after my old clock died. Unfortunately I no longer possess the eagle vision that I remember having from my youth so I was looking for something that was easy to read from the opposite side of the garage. At the same time I didn't want something obnoxious that stood out like a disco light. Finally, to handicap my search even further I am also.. lets just say.. frugal. Needless to say I did not have the highest of hopes entering into this endeavor as I figured my requirements were all contradictory. So imagine my surprise when I discovered this clock!It is super easy to read because the digits are large and high contrast. It is not obnoxious because it dims itself if it is dark and brightens up when it is light so that the brightness is always the perfect mix of being easily visible without blinding you. The bezel is minimal so all you really see is the numbers making it even more able to blend into the background. Finally, it was reasonably priced. Even for a cheapskate like me I would consider this to be a very good value.As for things I don't like... There really isn't anything. Some people have complained in the comments that it is annoying that it has to always be plugged in. That is because this is a big LED display which would obliterate batteries in short order due to the minimal but continuous power draw. If you want a battery only clock you would have to go with an LCD clock which is much harder to read in low light conditions which is not what I was looking for. This clock simply uses a standard USB charger plug to operate so it is probably drawing less than 1 watt. It is not a power hog- it just isn't appropriate to run on batteries only.I have been super happy with this clock and was pleasantly surprised at how nice it looks in person and how perfectly balanced the light output is. It was literally exactly what I was looking for. If you think this clock would work for your situation I would highly recommend you buy it. I very much doubt that you would be disappointed.I hope this helps!

Love how simple this is! No extra bells and whistles, just the time that auto dims based on ambient lighting. Light and sleek.

This clock was great. It looks so simple and so clean. I thought it might look cheap, but it doesn’t have that look at all. It’s just perfectly clean and simple. The light sensor works instantly also. I have no complaints about this clock. I would 100% consider another for a different room.

I like the size of the clock & the large font. But, it dims at night. That's the only thing I don't like. It actually gets dimmer when it's dark in the room so you can't see it as well.

Day one and I love it so much! The auto dim function is great, the font is large enough where I can read it without my glasses, it has little legs that can be pulled out if you prefer to place it on a table instead of on the wall. Awesome. It also has a textured cover so no glare!

Very good clock for conference room. It uses USB power and has a battery to back up time but does not power on unless plugged into USB. We use our TV USB to power it.

In the last few years, I have purchased 4 of these total: 2 red display and 2 white display. With three of them, I installed the wiring inside the wall so that they have a nice clean appearance. I could easily do so for the one in my office (in the attached picture), but don't mind the cord going straight up to it.Two of them are installed in bathrooms and are subjected to a fair amount of heat and steam, but have been going strong for a while now. They also keep good time. I like that it is easy to adjust the time, when needed.If Utah House Bill 120 passes the Senate, I won't have to even change the time so much. Here's to hoping...

I've had this now for over a year. This clock sits in my garage so it deals with temperature swings and moisture from the wet vehicle in and out. I have not had any issues with it and it's super easy to read. I put it up so that when I'm working in the garage with gloves on, I don't have to reach for my phone to see what time it is. This has worked great and every two months or so I have a blip in power and this thing has kept time pretty well. In the last year, it appears to be off by one min and I haven't needed (or bothered) to adjust it. Other reviews seem pretty mix so not sure if I'm just super luck, but I like this thing a lot. One thing I wish it had was DST, then it would be set it and forget it.
