Carlex Cake Release Spray 600ml, Non-Stick Oil Spray for Air Fryer

OMG!!! Game changer. Recently when I did the oil/butter and flour in the tin on my own, I ended up with crispy bits, over cooking time and had a dilemma. Saw this advertised and thought ok what’s to lose so bought it, and wow it does what it says on the tin. The cooking time went back to normal and when I tapped the tin to start to release the sides after cake had cooled, it released effortlessly. The price is worth it. Easy to use and nothing to lose. This is my go to now. Beyond happy. PS you don’t need to use too much spray. I did about 2-3 squirts and it’s enough

I was skeptical but this is legendary. The only thing that makes me happy to use my brilliance Nordic ware bundt as buttering etc it made me reluctant to use it. Not to mention needed to flour it as well which compromised the appearance of the cake. Tried this todat with a raspberry ricotta pistachio bundt with a layer of raspberry coulis and fresh raspberries in the mix and it just popped out all perfect with all the designs in place. Also, being coeliac i was grateful to find something without flour etc. Hopefully don't run out anytime soon as 600ml is a lot but will definitely repurchase.

A gamechanger have been struggling with bundt tins for years especially the castle tin and have tried many methods to secure a clean release but with limited success. This spray though expensive actually works, I tested it today with a 'box cake' and very few crumbs stuck.

I am a bit obsessed with this product as it is definitely the best cake release spray I've ever used. I used to bring back spray cans of Pam oil from trips abroad but this is far superior. It has no taste and a light spray of cake pans and even fairly intricate cake moulds is all that is needed for the end result to slip easily out of the tin. My last lot of mini fruit cakes did a bit of a Houdini escape and launched themselves out of the hot tin when I tilted it even though my intention was to leave them in the pan to cool a bit before racking. I've not used it as an oil spray in a frying pan as some people do but have used it in my poached egg moulds to get the cooked eggs to slide out easily without diving in there with a spoon and inevitably breaking them getting them out. It looks expensive but will last ages as its a big can and only a small spray is needed - it comes out as a white liquid which didn't look great but is an excellent way of spotting if you've missed an area and I've also used it on fish skin when tray baking it in the oven as even with spray oil I find that this sometimes sticks to the pan Highly recommend

As usual I was sceptical about product claims but this works. I’ve had 2 ninja non stick crisper plates which both lost their non stick and chicken wings/drumsticks last night and bacon today would stick even with olive oil! Both times the spray worked perfectly. Really pleased and would definitely recommend.

Perfect addition to ninja 14 in 1 airfryer. I have found the non stick nature of the basket and main crucible diminishes in time. Food would stick to the equipment and cleaning was more onerous and required more scrubbing which worsened the issue. Not anymore this spray works a charm! It has pretty much removed the need to scrub after use. I find if i'm cooking similar meats one after the other I don't need to recoat. Only after a wash do I need to.
