What surprised me is how much faster the iPad is wired directly to a POE switch (with this adaptor) than on WIFI. Once a cable is run to your POE switch, this adaptor is plug and play. Very easy to install. And it is quite small. It will easily fit into a standard electrical box for wall mounting applications.
