It's comfy with texture and has rubber gripping at the bottom
My fiance bought me this and I love it!!! I mostly play first person shooter games and the firefly V2 is ideal for both tracking and flicking so it's perfect for me. I looked for a couple of hours for a: large, hard surfaced mouse pad that is at least a known brand- and apparently they don't exist because I only found tacky stuff. But this is a lot bigger than I thought and since I don’t have to move my hand as much compared to my fabric one, it turns out I didn't need a massive one anyway.Pros and cons:+ There's a clip at the top of the pad which let's me tuck my mouse cord so it doesn't keep snagging on things+ The colours are VIBRANT! All my Razer peripherals are colour changing and I'm yet to be disappointed. I haven't changed the default settings in the Razer synapse application but they offer even more choices+ There's only one USB cable rather than multiple like their other peripherals (but I still needed a USB extension cord since Razer likes taking up my ports)- The entire bottom is covered in rubber gripping but it still keeps shifting on my wooden deskI thought the surface would feel gritty like sandpaper since I saw what it looked like online, but it's comfy with texture and within a day it felt smoother than when I first got it which made my mouse perform even better. Just don't forget to recalibrate your mouse plus you may need to install Razer synapse version 3 since I had the original one and it wouldn't work.

Good but mouse collects fluff from this surface
Works great, mouse glides smoothly, lights are easily customisable and it has a nice cable holder for the mouse. I'm using this razer mousepad with a razer mouse and the only issue is that the mouse collects white stringy fluff from this mouse pad...so once in a while when I notice the mouse not tracking correctly I need to clean up the fluff under the mouse stuck to the surface grippers and to some extend covering the laser under the mouse...this part really sucks

Amazing with all other razer products
The media could not be loaded. I love my mouse pad because it works its decent and I brought it because it connects with synapse 3. This means with my keyboard and mouse and mouse Dock they all connect together. I can even have a ripple effect and when I type words on my keyboard it ripples and ripples all the way onto the mouse and mouse pad. There's synapse studio which is like a photoshop but for the layout of all my accessories such as keyboard mouse and mouse pad and I can organise the layout on the pc and have way more different cool light effects. Although I must say if there was a soft version it would be even better. I only got this mouse pad because it lights up along with all my other things. I prefer a soft mousepad ideally. It's not as comfortable as a soft would be. It still does the job but a soft one would have been the best for me but I can't complain at all.

How does this pass quality control when made!?
Received the product yesterday via Amazon Prime and opened today and the quality on the mouse in the picture says a lot. The box was sealed with security seal so is brand new but how this passed quality control at Razer's end when made is beyond me. Sending back for a replacement ASAP.===========================================Update:Received the replacement Razer Firefly V2 mouse mat and the replacement isn't perfect but tons better than the original new V2 I received. I have the Razer Goliathus Extended Chroma mouse mat and would advise people to purchase that one near the same price as the Firefly V2 because I've seen far too many disappointed customers receiving defected Firefly V2 mouse mats. Amazon have been fantastic with the hassle free replacement and free posting of the defected original one I sent back.

Both dissapointed and not.
So, first it must be said that despite "buying new" what arrived at first and second was a USED product where you can see some visible wear.On the first delivery of this mousepad, the wear was quite bad with the wear easily visible on the edges and the RGB being able to be seen through this wear at low light levels as well as a small hole on the top section of the mouse pad (see photos). All of this despite being classified as "new" and bought as new for a higher price. However, I should say the back of the mousepad was in perfect condition which makes sense as it should stay on the desk 24/7.Upon opting to receive a different one on the offchance this was a mistake, I received a second used one with the wear still slightly visible but with a massive difference in wear as there was no RGB showing through at any light level. Technically for me this is the preffered option as it means the slight wear is better for the mouse but I paid for NEW and received USED twice, so really what you are paying for is used resold at a slightly lower price because you don't want to pay the shipping price from razer which is fine unless you want it to last the longest it can without having to return it for the lottery on the ammount of wear on the mousepad that you receive.I heavily like the second one I received, but would have preffered a new one that I myself can eventually cause a little bit of wear on over time. So imo, if you value you the bang for your buck, you should pay that extra razer shipping cost and slight price increase for a new product.

Over priced for what it is
Over priced for thin peice of plastic with a light on and no different from a soft mat , but does work

It’s ok
It provides great responsiveness for the right mouse! I used it with few different and noticed the best was razer optical mouse. Other brands didnt perform great.
