They do the job and they do it fairly well. The screws are quite small and fiddly to get in place if you got sausage fingers. To counter that, predrill a small hole, can't remember what size bit to use, figure it out yourself... That should prevent any wood splitting/bulging and allow you to push the screw in a tad, rather than dropping it on the floor... I managed to loose 4 screws that way... :/ The transparency is fine as they are less obvious if in view, but make sure you don't put these directly over the leds themselves, the plastic will throw the different colours in different directions. Not by much, but if you see it, it'll annoy you. You'll need a pz1 screwdriver bit if you plan on using a drill for screwing these in, amazingly I found one next to me without looking, first and last time that'll happen >_> Overall, they do what they say, much better than relying on the rubbish adhesive backing or other janky methods I was trying! Though they only have one screw per fixing, if the screw is done tight, it's a good fit around the waterproofing case and holds well.

I expected these to be spot on. I found them to be passable, but not great. Used with a length of the correct waterproof LED strip, I found the screws too short and struggled to get them deep enough to bite tightly and pull the clip tight to the surface of a piece of pine, so I used longer screws from my own stock instead. The clips themselves are a a little too deep so don't enable a tight grip of the strip against the surface, leaving it all a bit loose and saggy.

The strip came with a really sticky adhesive backing which did stick well to a timber arch. However, I decided to put one bracket across each of the copper cut lines just in case the backing strip comes loose over time. A 'Belt and Braces job' you might say but really pleased with the end result and actually the brackets make for what looks like quite a professional job though I say it myself!

Good product that is as stated except that my sealed bag was 7 screws and 5 clips short with one mal-formed clip.

These clips are excellent,they just do what they have to do,not 1 did break in my experience,although you have to be careful they dont fall on the ground,theyre hard to spot...

Fijne clips, doorschijnend zodat ze minder zichtbaar zijn. De schroefjes zijn erg mini, daarom heb ik de clips geplakt met secondelijm, dit ging prima. Mijn ledstrip hangt weer mooi vast langs de trap.
