What a joke!
It's good quality and that's it! Does not charge from a type c brick, does not work while charging, takes forever, runs down very quickly on bright. You basically have to use the USB to type c and that measly 1amp, not that it can tolerate any more..... With all the hype this was getting????Gone back to COAST, spent 30 bucks and got a fantastic magnetic flashlight that lasts forever, charges quickly and works while charging, way smaller also.....VERY disappointed with this!!!

Make No Mistake, This LED Work Light is for Automotive Professionals

Why? Because Philips is a name brand, and we like name brand products. Why? Because name brand products have a high level of quality, and they stand behind what they sell; that includes Philips. So, if there is a defect, we trust Philips will honor their multi-year warranty. Which brings us confidence in this premium priced LED work light geared for the automotive professional, which we are not, but do tinker around. This LED work light is durable, fun, and simple to use. So simple that a toddler wanting to assist can (although the foldaway hanger and magnetic base are perfect options too. Children love flashlights, but this is not a toy to play with, as it is a premium priced product, triple digit $$$. But we knew that when we selected, so no gripes about price. Which, regardless, we do not know of any competitor that offers a better product. Sure, we have others that are similar, but they do not have the color rendering index we can trust, nor the UV, nor the other features listed above. The Color Rendering Index (CRI) of (95), which this boasts, is a measurement of how natural colors render under an artificial white light source when compared with sunlight. The index is measured from 0-100, with a perfect 100 indicating that colors of objects under the light source appear the same as they would under natural sunlight. So, colors look like they are supposed to, no confusion over that wire color.Even with USB-C charging, such took from being drained, over four (4) hours, however, we had at least that much time with the light on, so fair trade-off. The spotlight (flashlight) is an added convenience and is a very bright white. The UV LED light is a tell-all and another interesting feature for detection of problems the visible light does not suggest. We hope our thoughts assist in your decision.

Main light is fantastic. Spot and UV lights are pretty basic.
This light is designed as part of a system, and unless you're already using other Phillips lights you're missing out. For example the drop in charge rack and remote control. You're paying for compatibility (charge points, etc.) but don't have the functionality without dropping more $$$.It's still a great light. The stand-out feature is the main light on the face. It has two light levels and both are bright. It pivots down but does not swivel. The color is also accurate - so if you're looking at a wiring harness, yellow is yellow, orange is orange and red is red. The two lights on the top - the spot light and UV light? For the price I'm disappointed. They honestly seem like something you'd find on a generic "but wait there's more!" light. The spot has a really ugly beam with hot and cold spots. The UV light is anemic. It has to be within inches for anything to react. The power switch is designed well and is beefy, but the light has to be held in the hand to use - you can't just reach up and tap a rocker. I suppose that's why they make the remote. So if you want to change the light brightness, you need to take it from wherever it's attached, change the setting, then put it back. But it's spill-proof and difficult to damage.Mounting options are nice. A really STRONG magnet in the base. Holds the light at any angle and is powerful enough to pick up a 16" wrench. There's a fold-out hook to hang it from that swivels. So if you're using the hook it makes up for no swivel on the main light panel. It's charged via USB-C and there's a %age - actual numbers - battery display.

Extraordinary design, superb functionality
This is a true, professional-grade work light. It's expensive, but the uncompromising design and quality alleviate any concerns about value. I already know that this is the light I'll be reaching for, time and time again, whenever the need arises.Weighing in at just over 11oz., the light has a good heft and very sturdy construction. The triangular body and non-slip grip feel great in the hand, and the power button is conveniently located. The magnetic base is nice and strong, keeping the light firmly in place even when accidentally bumped. The flip-up main LED offers four positions at 30° angles, great for directing the light to right where you need it.The Xperion 6000 is a joy to use. The primary work light offers plenty of brightness and wide coverage, and the Eco mode is a useful option for extended sessions. The 95-CRI LEDs provide excellent color rendition, perfect for working on color-coded wiring (unlike cheap flashlights that make things appear grayish). The forward-facing spotlight and UV illuminator both serve their purposes well.A digital readout shows the exact amount of battery remaining, in 1% increments, so there's never any question about how much juice is left. The light charges via USB-C port, with cable and AC adapter included in the box. The optional wireless locator and charging station accessories would come in very handy in a larger shop environment.Overall, this is an exceptional work light, a worthwhile investment for professionals and tool enthusiasts alike. Recommended without reservation.
