Engaging. Informative. Actionable. Well Worth Reading!
The title of this book compelled me to purchase it and I'm so glad that I did. The first story was so engaging, I didn't want to put the book down after reading it. This book is very well written with a strong story arc and content structure. It's an important book for all sensitive souls and empaths to read. For those new to the concept of shadow work or well versed in the topic this book will open your eyes to new perspectives that aren't found in other books about shadow work. I have read a number of books on the topic and this one was by far the most pragmatic and actionable. It will help you to not only acknowledge and understand your gifts but it will reveal that in doing the 'work', you will strengthen your current gifts and discover new, richer ones that arise from the darkness. This book helped me to better appreciate and embrace my intuitive side. The meditations are extremely powerful and I found the tools to perform the shadow work to be so helpful in easing anxiety and stress, and ultimately, gaining deeper healing that I very much needed. This is one of the best books I have read on Shadow Work and I am so grateful that I purchased it. I look forward to the author's next book.

Great reading!
I enjoy the travel listening to this work. Open my eyes in so many levels; both to understand others and myself. I bought it in audible but need to keep some ideas at hand and look for the printed version. We all may think about our own sensitivity. Suggestion is to access with openness and grace. without any labels in mind.

Important information for sensitives
I found this book easy to read, engaging, and emotional at times. It invites sensitive people, HSPs, and empaths to embrace their sensitivity as a gift rather than as a burden (we're often told we're "too sensitive" growing up, so bringing our sensitivity out of the shadows is crucial!). Last year I discovered that I am empathic and went on a personal journey to uncover who I am though learning psychology, philosophy, spiritual practices, writing and reading, and shadow work. All of this was beneficial for making me who I am today -- someone who loves her gift and wants to help others see their sensitivity as a gift too. This book does the same thing and solidifies some practices to bring results in our lives. It has a lot of recommendations for bringing balance to our lives. My only complaint is that it doesn't have a lot of shadow work prompts--however, this is a great start for a beginner. I'd recommend this book and the author did a great job putting these concepts into words.

Lots of Basic Fundamentals-Easy Writing Style
While basic, the book is a good starting point for those first embarking on any kind of "spiritual" work. However, this book 📚 I feel/Sense is more of an Introduction/Overview of what could be a whole series of books, each one young deeper into a touch point/topic in the bookFor example: the author goes into Sound Healing and Music, how music has a powerful effect on shifting your state. I found myself interested, as I have heard of what he speaks of before. So, I found myself wanting to read more insights he may have discovered through his own experiences (ancestor example) to bring me into the author's unique POV.Overall, if you are new to the path of Spiritual Awakening, the book is like a little treasure trove of many related topics that are perfect for opening your mind up to further research and experience them for yourself.Perhaps the author already has his Series in the works. 🤔. I will be keeping my eye out for this fresh author. I feel he has a unique experience and perspective to potentially offer in his next works 📚

Good read
Good read. Author was thorough in their research and in covering the topic of shadow work. I like how this book adds a unique perspective with how they presented the information from a spiritual and scientific perspective rather than just science. Well written and researched. Pretty quick read too. Would recommend

Meh
This “book” is pretty basic and definitely not what I was hoping for; if it was printed full page instead of scattered half pages it would be more of a brochure… don’t bother buying this clumsy journal

Insightful, Empowering with so much wisdom packed into this book
If you are on a healing journey as an empath or highly sensitive soul this is a book you will want to read! The author makes it easy to learn about how to begin do shadow work and how to accept the parts of yourself that seem challanging to accept so that you can stop judging yourself and start to heal. I wish I had a book like this when I started my journey years ago it certainly would have brought me clarity that took many years for me to discover on my path. I highly recommend this book for anyone new on their self healing journey! Thanks Ramon 🙏🏽

I’m disgusted that this book cost as much as it did and offered so little in return
I purchased this book because I’m an empath, who has lived in this world for almost 5 decades. The “powerful tools” that were promised on the front cover propelled me to spend almost £10. I am desperate to learn and be inspired amongst the quagmire of utter drivel put into the world as “inspiration”. I was sorely disappointed, and frankly am gobsmacked at the 5* reviews! In a nutshell: it feels like this book was either chucked together over the course of a weekend or written by AI. The anecdotes are pathetic. The powerful tools are simply paragraphs on things that help absolutely everyone struggling. Along with a guided meditation - which spans over 10 pages and is basically a few generic meditations mushed together.“Eat well, be well” gets about a hundred words - nutrition should always have at least an entire chapter dedicated, because it affects absolutely everything else we do as humans. This book had great potential. It could have properly dived into the importance of dealing with past trauma but instead it’s glossed over. Essentially saying shadow work can by done by everyone but people with real trauma should see a therapist. What exactly was the point? I learnt nothing from this book, but I do feel *exceptionally* ripped off! (I’ve included a few photos with excerpts to illustrate my frustration)
