Easy to assemble. Dont over tighten the bolts n nuts. But certainly works good to buffer the cable retrieve on my winch and not overstrain the winch or snap the cable.

Faded quickly to pink. Don’t spend the extra money on the name brand just go with the black generic or you will be kicking yourself. Fades way too quickly,

I got this hook stop because I saw one on my friend's vehicle. It looked great and seemed to work very well... So I got one for my vehicle and It definitely does the job, but the "red" color faded significantly in just a few months... That's too bad because I really liked the look of it before it became all washed out looking. I'll probably paint it with a high quality rubberized, red paint and see if that'll fix the faded eyesore attached to the front of my custom bumper.

Functional and of good quality. Nice fit for my VRX 45 winch.
