Better than cosequin!
My 5 year old Aussie was limping all day, everyday despite constant cosequin plus pain medication. This was recommended to me by a lady who owns/trains therapy dogs & I cannot thank her more!Noticeable improvement in just two weeks and no need for further pain medications! She did/does advise the loading dose for the full 6 weeks (before switching to maintenance dosing) which we intend to do.But again, this is GOLD, I’m just shocked more vets do not recommend this to begin with!

Good price and it works
My pug could barely walk. Within a few days of taking this supplement she was moving around on her own. Miracle supplement. Cheaper than at the vet. The chews were chewy (as they should be), not dried out.

These are helping my 18 year old cat
My aging cat (she'll be 18 on November) is having a multitude of age related issues. One of them appears to be arthritis. When she had her annual checkup in March, I told the vet that she would meow in a kind of sad way. I thought it might be dementia. The vet palpated her and said that she has pain associated with arthritis. While she follows me around the house and can still jump up onto the bed and arm of the couch from the floor, she saunters around and no longer moves quickly. The vet sent me home with some pain meds and Flexadin Plus. I throttled back on the pain meds as I ramped up the Flexadin. After four months, she no longer has tenderness nor discomfort from joint pain. She weighs a bit over 7 pounds and gets 1/2 a chew per day, which I break into smaller pieces and leave in her heated bed where she eventually eats it. I'm glad that these non-veterinary chews are working.April 2018 updateMy 20 year old cat is still going. She walks slowly and now struggles to jump up and down. But she doesn't seem to have any arthritis pain. I did get a bag of chews that were really hard and I fixed this by soaking the 1/4 size pieces and they softened up nicely. The chews in the latest order are't as hard, but are not as chewy as the original bag.

Flexadin Plus chews NOT as advertised. See images and compare to what is posted.
Update: I am updating this review because the seller has updated their image to reflect the actual product. The previous image was with the treat shaped as a bone, etc. Additionally, I went back to my cat's vet to confirm if this was the same product and the office informed me that the change must have been recent. She said the old version may have confused some cat owners because of the bone (since the product is for cats and dogs). Basically the product is legit and arrived undamaged. The packaging has been updated from previous versions and I obviously will not be returning it now.--------------------------------------------------------------------Old Post: I don't know what product they are actually selling, but it does NOT look like its Flexadin Plus from the real company. Please review the pictures I have posted and compare them to what they are advertising. The one pictured on Amazon has a treat in the shape of a bone, what I received had a plus. The quality seal on on lower right corner of the bag (on Amazon) does NOT match the one that I received on the bag. I could not find a quality seal that looked like the one that I received on the vetoquinol website. Also, please note that the bag I received has a big "Omega 3 Vit E". Why isn't that on the bag being advertised? I'm very particular about this because my vet is the one that recommended a specific supplement and I want to stick with EXACTLY what they recommend. I do not recommend purchasing from this seller because you are going to receive a different product. I am going to return this ASAP.

Our dog is much more agile again!
Our shepherd mix had hip problems which made it very difficult for her to get up when she was lying down. She pretty much had trouble going from any position to another - sitting to standing, standing to sitting, lying to standing, etc., and she would sometimes slip on the hardwood and her hips would splay which of course was quite painful for her. A year ago our vet had us start our dog on these to see if they would help. Within a few days we saw marked improvement!! It's been a year now and it is still remarkable how much better she is able to get around. She can run around and be silly again - she's 11 years old! A couple tips I can offer to others who are considering trying this product: 1) Keep them in the refrigerator. It doesn't say they need to be refrigerated, but they don't get rock hard if kept in the fridge. 2) Our dog is apx. 50 lbs so she only needs 1/2 of a large dog chew, but it is a pain to cut an entire bag of chews in half. I read the ingredients and dosage labels of the large and small dog packages and found the small dog chews are 1/2 the dosage of large dog chews - voila! - I order the small dog chews and no more having to cut these suckers in half! All in all I would highly recommend them. Our Lady looks forward to her "chewy" every evening!

Totally recommend!!
I am a veterinary technician and have access to all sorts of medications and supplements for pets. My, now, 18 year old kitty was limping pretty significantly on a front leg. Just old arthritis. Still able to jump up on the bed, etc. I tried Cosequin, which he would not eat in his food, and I wasn't about to shove a capsule down his throat every day. This "treat" is super palatable (at least that's what my cats tell me) and worked wonders for Nino. His limping decreased almost to a non-existent state within a couple of weeks. 1/2 a treat with dinner lasts 180 days! Not everything works for everyone, but this seemed to be the ticket for him. I would totally recommend trying them. I give it to one of my other cats just as a preventative as well.

Bad taste & texture. And too large even when broken in half.
My Yorkie hates the taste & texture. Too gummy & hard for him to chew. I have to break up a half in tiny pieces & hide in a pill pocket treat for him to get it down. It’s for his arthritis. Not sure yet if it’s working.

Good but Very Expensive
Arrived quickly and in good condition. Seem to help with joint stiffness, etc. BUT they are quite pricey, other products have gotten the same job done for cheaper. Again, not a bad product in and of itself though, does what it's supposed to. Thanks!

Helps
This bag is much cheaper than buying from the vet. The dose is different compared to Canadian but taking less like it says on the bag it equals the same. My elderly kitties would be in a lot of pain and not be able to walk around if not for these
