Ring No-Drill Mount for Ring Video Doorbell (2nd Gen)

Bought 2 of these as loved house and left the last one for the people moving in. So easy to install and held up for over a year

I have a fire door so no drilling allowed. The "round the door" brackets are the wrong angle, started to panic about how I was going to fit found this no drill and it is perfect and sticks very well. Slim size simple to use. I would of maybe like an extra sticky pad just incase of moving, accidental wrong placement/damage or if use in all weathers as a back up incase rather than having to buy a whole new one but 100% a great buy.

There is nothing on the packaging that indicates what model this is for and upon opening and trying to avoid a Ring 2nd gen camera, I found it does not fit in any way. THIS WAS UNTIL I REALISED YOU NEED TO TAKE THE BACK COVER OFF. So some of the reviews saying this doesn't fit, clearly didn't do this.I cleaned my door with alcohol, held the frame on for about 2 minutes (it advises 5 but I don't have the stamina), then left it for about 30 further minutes on its own to adhere (advised 1 hour but am impatient).Note that you still have to screw the camera on to the frame itself so don't throw the screw bits away if you get this.Seems to be holding up perfectly, and I think it will be easy enough to remove when the time comes thanks to tabs.EDIT after 2 years, I moved house so tried to take this off. It would not budge. It was stuck like concrete, I would have damaged my door if I tried to take it off harder - so yeah, that's the only downside. Hope the new owners have a Ring doorbell they can fit in it!

Works well would say 5 star but pricey for what is a plastic and some double sided tape.Does work though so worth buying.

I bought the no-drill mount because I’m renting and can’t drill into the door/external wall. It came with a clear set of instructions that were followed to the letter (i.e. the adhesive was left to ‘adhere’ for the specified time… and some).THE ISSUE: within a couple of hours, my Ring doorbell (still attached to the mount) fell off of my door. I reattached it to the door using the spare strips that were provided, however in less than 12 hours after that, it fell off again.Since the second time, I gave up with the Ring branded mount and bought a 3rd party one from KIMILAR (if anyone’s interested). Since attaching it to my door, it hasn’t fallen off of it a single time.TL;DR: for an item sold by Ring themselves, the quality is extremely poor and if it were possible, I’d have given 0 stars in my review.**DO NOT BUY!**

Having recently moved, I needed a way to install my ring doorbell cam to the front door without actually drilling into the property.This provided the solution and fixes securely to the doorframe without actually drilling the supplied sticky pads.Probably worth checking what surface you need to attach to as I suspect it won’t adhere to brick.

Excellent for rental property. Had it mounted onto a glass pane. When it came to leaving literally just tugged on the plastic strips and it came off without any difficulty at all! Impressed!
