Good box
The box is literelly as good as they git so it is, handy for putting stuf in so they are

Decent size and pleasant appearance
This is exactly as described. It is a decent-sized wooden box. It is unfinished wood and so really does need painting, varnishing or waxing (which I have done) and with wax it comes up nicely. How durable the hinges will be, I don't know and only time will tell but they seem OK and are not loose.

Reasonable quality box but poor hinges.
I made a step out the box by glueing a piece of doormat to the top in order to help our elderly dog get into the car. Will be useful for storing things in the car and is of reasonable quality wood and construction but let down by poor, cheap hinges.

Goot looking and strong
This was bought as a 'Man Crate' to hold bits and bobs of Christmas stocking fillers for an avid DIYer. I was surprised at how strong it appears and it certainly did the job it was intended for. It has been stained and waxed has been given a simple thumb turn type catch. Can't fault it. I might be buying more of these towards next Christmas.

Ideal DIY Christmas Eve box.
I purchased this box as my wife and I decided to give each other Christmas Eve boxes. It is a very sturdy wooden box and hopefully will be used for many years to come. It can be painted, vanished, stained, or left in it's original state. If you need a toy box, or a box for storage, this is ideal. It does not have a lock, but one could be fitted quite easily to the lid. It does have two hand holds on either side to make carrying easier. I'm very happy with it and have already sprayed it with a primer in preparation for painting. Hopefully the missus will appreciate my Christmas decorative attempt.
