I've been using this pillow for several months now, and I can absolutely vouch for the quality of it. When I first ordered the pillow it had a long scratch along the middle of it (not a crease from shipping, but a scratch), and the customer support from promeed sent a replacement immediately.The pillowcase stays cold throughout the night so I do not need to flip my pillow constantly, and it is extremely smooth so it does not damage my skin. Additionally, this is 100% silk. I tested my first pillowcase which I got replaced, and it burns (the only way to truly test it) exactly as silk does. Fantastic product and company :)

I purchased a couple of other cheaper, silk pillowcases in the past and they wore out in a short period of time. So I did some research, and these were very well priced and got very good reviews. I can see why! I could immediately see and feel the quality improvement over my last pair--they are better constructed and the fabric has much more 'heft'. I love sleeping on these, and the grey matches beautifully with my sheets and decor. And they also wash up well, I just throw them in the washing mahcine and the dryer. No problem. In fact, they are getting softer each time. This was a great purchase, and I highly recommend them.

I have a few "100% mulberry silk" pillowcases from different companies and this brand was the only one that immediately caused static. When I put it on the bed any little piece of dust or lint stuck to it and my long wavy hair was sooooo static-y after laying on it for just 5 minutes. Frizz is an understatement! Also there was supposedly a "sample" piece of the pillow's material included but the place on the insert where it was supposed to be attached just had a piece of double-sided tape and nothing else there. Apparently this one was a return? I think there's significant polyester in the actual pillowcase because it is much shinier/slicker than the other 100% mulberry silk pillowcases I have (fishers finery, olesilk, zimasilk, & brooklinen). In addition, there's no separate Oeko-Tex testing tag on the Promeed pillowcase saying it has been tested and is free of harmful chemicals. The word "Oeko-Tex" is just printed on the Promeed tag, with no required verification number that can be validated on the Oeko-Tex website. To me, this indicates it is fraudulent because real Oeko-Tex certification includes a label number that can be entered on their website and validates the material it is made from and that no harmful chemicals were used. I've included a video and some photos to show these issues and I hope this helps someone else make their purchasing decision. It's a nice pillowcase - but definitely not worth this price and not if you know and are expecting what is advertised (100% mulberry silk with no polyester or chemicals blended in). I will be returning it.

The silk pillowcase came in a very small bag and the product was all wadded up. Wrinkled horribly! Not something you’d be comfortable giving as a gift.
