Mondial Flask, 1L

My wife wanted a thermos for our days out as a family. After speaking to her Mum she recommended this one, (she still has her original from the 90’s which they used as a family when my wife was a child.) She was overjoyed when she found Thermos still made the model but then quickly disheartened reading the reviews on here about breakages and poor quality. Due to my mother in laws high praise for hers, and the cheap price, I decided to give it a go anyway. Both my wife and I are really glad we did. It works perfectly! Hot coffee stays hot! The cups are more than a generous size. We easily get 4 cups out of a less than full thermos too. It’s easy to clean as all the parts come apart and go back together easily. I’m not sure what everyone else has been doing but we pack this into a normal rucksack along with our picnic and it has gone in the boot of the car/ on hard ground/ been on stone floors and not a single problem. I think if I dropped it it may not fair well but it’s not designed for this so that would be understandable. Overall a really good product and definitely worth taking a punt on if your not sure like my wife was.

I don't like metal cups as they often burn my mouth. I was delighted that this flask had 2 cups, just in case another person would need one, it makes it more versatile. It is quite light too. It is a little bit big for an average rucksack though if you are out travelling, so you will have to carry another sort of bag for that. It maybe ok if you have a spare rucksack and someone else is carrying it and has little stuff. The water is piping hot for ages which is great.absolutely delighted, get so fed up with cold coffee. watch out that it has glass inside so it could break if dropped. update it breaks easily,it just fell over on hard ground, keep away from kids and pets or clumsy people. had to get a replacement, i bought 2 more one if I break it again. It has been hard to find a thermos that is actually hot for ages like this one.

Great Flask

My son was filling the thermos and it exploded in his face and he got burned by scolding hot water on his hands and glass went onto his face! He was extremely lucky that the glass did not get into his eyes.

You cannot BEAT these Thermos Glass Flasks.. I've used this type of Flask for over 55yrs. From going Fishing, as a Kid, to starting my Apprenticeship at 15, many years ago. 😂 As long as you fill it correctly it'll stay Hot for Many Hours. Just make sure you Pre Heat the Flask first. So fill it with Boiling Water put the screw cap on, Leave for 5mins, pour the Boiling Water back into the kettle, put the Screw Cap back on, reboil the Water, Then refill the Flask. This'll keep the water Boiling Hot until you need it... The only bad point is, they are Fragile, and if you Drop it, you're going to Smash the inner Flask But if you are Careful and look after it.. It'll last for years. I have tried the Stainless Steel types BUT they just do NOT keep the water Hot. Hope this was Helpful...... 😊

Non posso che dire cose positive. Comprato e soddisfattissima. Contiene 75 ml, ha la tazza pratica da togliere dove mettere la bevanda che fa da tappo, Dentro c'è un ulteriore tappo che sviti per fare uscire il prodotto e in cima c'è uno scompartimento dove inserire eventuali medicine o bustine per il tè. Inserendo il tè caldo, il prodotto non fa condensa, cosa che altri termos fanno sgocciolando ovunque. Non perde il liquido, mantiene il caldo fino a quasi 10 ore. L'interno è di alluminio ricoperto da vetro quindi non si formano quelle patine strane di ossidazione o sporco che in altri termos ho riscontrato. Insomma pratico e consigliatissimo sia per bevande calde che fredde!

Diese Thermosflasche hält unfassbar lange heiß! Mittags aufgeschütteter Tee kann bis spät abends noch kochendheiß getrunken werden. Super. Kaufempfehlung!

....sondern hält auch noch den Tee, den mein Mann täglich mit zur Arbeit nimmt über viele Stunden heiß. Er ist zufrieden mit diesem Produkt und somit gibt es die volle Zahl an Sternen für diese formschöne und sehr pflegeleichte Thermosflasche.
