Maped Kidi Cut 12cm Scissors with Fibreglass Blades for Children

Those scissors exceeded my expectation - they are very well made. We tried cutting the foam paper with them and it's working good. No luck with tissue paper, but they are doing good job with card paper though. My daughter is 2,3 and they are still big for her fingers but they are good to start learning with.

I debated buying these based on reviews, but they are really good safety scissors. They are super safe and are actually pretty good at cutting. My two year old loves his ‘snip snips’ and it gives him some independence whilst being safe. I would probably say these are good first scissors for toddlers. I aim to teach my son the basics with these and learn scissor safety, then we will probably move onto something a little bit better at cutting when he’s a bit older.

These scissors most of the time just crimp the paper instead of cutting through, even with multiple types of paper.

Very safe, doesn't cut cloth or skin for sure. However it also doesn't cut paper well - one layer max. Another problem is that my 2.5 yo couldn't use it with one hand due to lack of strength. We'd buy another spring assisted pair for him to start with.

These are amazing little scissors. Well made, good quality and all you can wish in toddler safe scissors. My 3 year old loves these. They cut paper perfectly and not fingers. Clever design.

Obviously, it's plastic, and it doesn't cut as well as the metal one, but it's safe, and my 3 years old loves it.

They cut paper so well but not sharp

These are amazing. Perfect for our 2-year-old. We had tried some plastic scissors which didn't really cut paper very well. These cut paper quite neatly. I tried to test the safety of these by trying to cut the ends of my hair with them and also see if they had the potential to cut my finger but they thankfully didn't. Overall brilliant. I wouldn't buy any other safety scissors again.

This is safe for children, the edge was little sharp and had to use sandpaper to make it blunt

Acheté pour mon fils de 2 ans à l'époque, il aime l'utiliser pour du papier...Par contre cela coupe le papier seulement si on a de la precision dans la main et que le papier est tenu bien droit. Ça ne me dérange pas, c'est pour s'amuser. Mon fils a très bien apris à l'utiliser vers ses 3 ans.

I ordered 1 pair to try out, my 2 year old loved cutting so much that I ordered 5 sets more. These do not cut hair/skin/plastic they only cut what they are suppose to cut and that is paper. Great product, super safe and good quality for such a low price!
