We already have one of these and we purchased this one for our holiday as the hotel has great walk in showers that do not have any hand grips. They are very study give a very strong grip but also easy to remove for cleaning. Defiantly worth 5* I would highly recommend.Unfortunately with the Corona 19 this years holiday is cancelled so we put it in our home shower. Unfortunately we went into the bathroom recently and found it half on the wall and half at the bottom of the shower. The sucker which fixes to the leaver is held in place by a 2mm pip which had snapped due to pressure of spring, rendering the handle useless. The original one with slightly weeker springs is still perfect (make unknown unfortunately otherwise I would purchase the same again). The picture on the item and the box looks identical to the original but instead of being light grey it turned out very dark grey. So buyer beware of this manufacturer, I definitely not recommended.

I cleaned a tile surface As instructed and allowed to dry before I attached one of the handles. Before I’d finished attaching the other, the first fell off. I pressed it tightly on before releasing the suction pad, but as I was attaching the second pad I heard it “pop” and one side was loose. Approximately 5s later the second side “popped” and it fell off again. Before I went to bed I checked the remaining handle, it was loose too on one side and at some time in the night detached itself. Not fit for purpose nor safe. A complete waste of money.

I was blown away with the suction of this handle as I had previously bought handles like these from mobility shop, and they were nowhere as good as these. The price is perfect, so much less than what I had paid previously,and exactly same product too. The stretch is great as it gives you full suction on the cup handles, which in turn makes the handle very sturdy.

They are very easy to put in place. You unlock the clasps, press it to the wall and lock the clasps again while pressing. The clasps are a bit harder to depress but still quite easy.The handhold is then rock solid and very stable. No sliding and impossible to pull off the wall. Seriously strong attachment.Mine is up in the bathroom and has been there for weeks. It has never fallen off and I have not needed to reset it, It seems just as rigid as when I fixed it on.The hand grip is thick and large so your whole hand can get a good grip. The only downside is that it was originally made in two peices joined together and the seam/joint is a little uneven so when you grip the handrail your fingertips can feel the uneven joint. But it;s only a minor gripe and the handhold still feels reasonably comfortable.

I read the other people’s disparaging remarks but I have found the product excellent for what it’s intended, if you follow the instructions it’s great. I’ve ordered another one to help me, and by the way I’m 18stone!

Bought this for my husband’s balance getting in & out of the shower, (our tray is about 4” high). Stuck it on the tiles to check position without taking the time to carefully clean the tiles first. Found it stuck really well. I still haven’t cleaned the tiles; it’s fallen off once and become loose one end a few times. Other than that it’s stuck solid. Husband checks it daily before getting in the shower and re sets the suction if needed, (about 3 times since first fitting).I bought a suction fastening handle because the wall it’s stuck to is not solid, my husband is a big man and it’s likely any force on the handle would rip a screw fixed one from the wall, taking a chunk of the wall with it.I’m impressed enough with this one to be considering buying a second one for when we go away.

Excellent. Follow instructions religiously on how to clean tiles and wet suction cups and it'll be brilliant. People complaining clearly have a duff one or didn't follow instructions.

I needed a temporary grab rail. Despite mixed reviews i purchased this one. It is great. I think many people don’t actually read the instructions, thus this rail fails. If you read the instructions and follow them its fine. You must have a completely smooth surface, no joints between tiled, no tiles with bumpy surfaces. Surface must also be spotlessly clean. Ive tried it on what i knew to be incorrect places and it fails, but on a clean very smooth surface it stays put for months. Probably longer but as i have only had it months I can’t say how long it will stay put. Our new bathroom will be finished soon so i will be able to remove it without leaving a mark in the spare room shower.
