Goodnight Digger

A very nice and relaxing bedtime story my little boy really enjoys. There is also goodnight tractor available which he likes even more.

I bought this book for my digger obsessed boy. He wasn’t interested at all in reading books before bed & always screamed for the iPad. This has done just the trick! The illustrations are lovely with large pages to look at. The narrative is very, very simple so I don’t think it would do for an older child- but perfect for a 2 year old

This is officially my little boys (16 months old) favourite book. He calls it “Night night digger”. The first night he asked me to read it to him 6 times! Every night he grabs it from his book shelf along with his Digger plush soft toy & runs to the bedroom….it melts my heart. I bought the “JCB 3CX Backhoe Plush Soft Toy” from Amazon to accompany the book so he cuddles his giant digger as we read him the book. It’s a simple story but the illustrations are beautiful and my little boy can relate to every page as he’s exactly the same with all his toys. If you have a toddler who’s into vehicles and constructions I would highly recommend this book. :)

Prepare to read it 100s of times:) much loved.

My 2 year old grandson is mad on diggers, he will love this book which has many pictures of other toys he has. Can’t wait to give it to him.

Brilliant book for all toddlers digger/vehicle daft. My son wants to me read it over and over again and bedtime.

A very simple book for babies and toddlers to follow. Big-sized, big pictures and lots of vehicles. This book reminded me of Good Night Moon and Good Night Gorilla book that my toddler enjoyed a lot when he was between 1-2 years of age. Now he is more into books that tell a story. But he still likes to look at the pictures in this book as he is totally into vehicles. What I found interesting is that my 6-month old also shows interest in this book, but I have to be more careful around her as the book is a paperback and at this stage she tries to put everything into mouth.

This is currently my son’s favourite book. Illustrations are good, not very long and not many words on each page. My 2 year old has learnt all the different transport words from this book.

My 2 year old son is obsessed with all types of vehicles and absolutely loved this book. The first day we got it I had to read it to him 5 times and then every night for a week after. The illustrations are lovely and and wording rhymes, making it a fun book to read outloud. My son loves to find all things things listed on the pages as I read it. Really glad I stumbled upon the title.
