used a spring for a home made insulation cutter. Springs added the right amount of tension to the wire. The only problem was when heated they tended to stretch more than I wanted.

Very useful box of different sizes an types of springs. With the lack of Hardwear shops in our area selling springs I have already began found a uses for sum of them. Thankyou.
