Silverline Pipe Flaring Kit 9pce (633545)

This is cheap , considering it flares copper brake line perfectly , Its easy done , as i clamp this into a Bench vice , it just makes life a little easy that way , but it not required too have a Vice . The flares torn out perfect , as good as any 300 - 400 STG perfesional one , But a little solwer . my rating is 10 out of 10 if you are only using this a few times a year.

Once you have the pipe and fittings then with this you can make up your own brakes or repair any rot.After only 2 trys I nailed it, with a little help from YouTube.DIY PROJECTS.Recommended.

As expected, this isn't a premium tool and tolerances aren't perfect. It is absolutely adequate though for the task and with a little practice it does the job in a very sturdy way that I expect to last for years. Need to be careful to align the frame and not squeeze the pipe, and then align the flare tool, but aside from that it works as expected.

I was able to achieve leak free joins in 3/16" copper brake pipe with relative ease.Great tool for the occasional users.It is a little fiddly to set up, but not difficult, if you take care and make sure everthing is aligned properly, it works well enough.

Whist these tools are flexible in being able to flare multiple sizes of pipe they're not particularly sturdy and will only just about manage to handle copper pipe, even then giving lop-sided flares. Forget using it for cupro-nickel (like I foolishly did) or steel. Spend your money on something stronger and more suited for the job.

A really great set. It fact its my second as I have brought one of these sets for myself and was that impressed I have just brought my lad one who is studying mechanics and I have added it to his tool box.Definitely a tool that helped me out. After my Nissan failed its mot and getting a silly quote to replace the brake pipes from the garage I grabbed one of these kits and some brake pipe and fittings and me and my friend worked through the evening to replace all of brake lines and I have to say it was easy with this kit to help us. And the car passed the Mot with no problems the next day which was handy as later that day my mate went to America for 4 months and him being the size of a twig was a handy guy to have working on the car on ramps on my driveway.

a little fiddly to set up but I suspect that is a general feature with this type rather than a fault of this in particular. very good value, I have now used a couple of times and it works well, the buttons supplied are for double flaring and are required for brakes. I have used on both copper and steel brake line (3/16) and it worked perfectly. obviously brakes should only be worked on by someone with sufficient knowledge but for other uses youtube has a number of good how to videos.

Pas de bonne qualité mais pour le prix il fallait pas s'attendre à mieux. A éviter, impossible de faire un bon dudgeon.

Very good tool replaced all my break lines on a car project and easy to use on copper lines.

Werkt prima, beetje vet en opletten dat de punt goed in het midden zit.

Compre este juego de abocardador de aire acondicionado a pesar de que leí varias opiniones negativas y no suelo opinar de algo sin antes probarlo, he realizado más de 20 abocardados de diferente tamaño y todos me han salido perfectos, puede que no sea una herramienta de profesional pero hace muy bien su función. La recomiendo.
