Only just received this so the review is based on first impressions, although it looks to be a great acquisition.I spent a fair amount of time deciding which pouch to go for and having received it I’m glad I chose this one. My primary concerns were over the size of pouch to fit my Huntsman. No worries here, this fits really nicely, not too tight, or loose. As you can see from the images, it would also fit a slightly wider knife and still retain a good snug fit. The quality looks good, as does the workmanship, nice and neat. It has a strong looking belt loop and the press stud is a good, sturdy fit to keep the knife safe and secure. I also like the red leather, for higher visibility - should make it easier to locate your knife when needed.Overall a well designed, good quality pouch and good value. Would definitely recommend for the Huntsman, and would choose this again if necessary.

Nice leather, and a well made pouch. Fits my Wenger EvoWood 14 snugly without deforming the sides at all, my 3 layer Victorinox Hiker nicely (it's a shade thiner than the EvoWood 14), and does okay for my 2 layer Victorinox Compact. A slightly snugger fit wouldn't hurt for a 2 layer knife, but if you like this case and have a 2 layer knife, I'd still recommend it. If you've got a 4 layer Victorinox, go for it – it'll fit very nicely, just expanding the sides of the case slightly, without being a tight fit.I found it very hard to find out what the rear of these cases was like before I bought them. The belt loop on this case consists of two vertical slits in the back, that you can slide your belt through. There's lining material inside the pouch to prevent your belt from coming into contact with the knife, and to keep dust/muck out. If you don't plan to use the pouch on your belt (but just to protect the knife) this design has the advantage that the belt loop doesn't take up any extra room.I also have the (brown) 40533 pouch. It has a velcro fastening, and is of a similar size. It fits the Hiker ever so slightly more snugly. The belt loop is of a different design – the front flap extends down the back of the case and is riveted at the top and bottom. It also works well, and the brown case is ever so slightly more compact. They're both lovely…

I am extremely happy with this purchase. Ive been looking for a suitable button fastened belt pouch for some time now, and this one hits the nail on the head.You will note from the imagery that there is room inside the pouch for a larger Swiss Army knife; however, the one I have in there now fits snug and comfortably.The quality is second to none and I have every confidence that this pouch will last.The colour is more of a blood red burgundy and therefore does a good job of being noticeable when needed, without standing out of place in the wilderness.The button fastener is robust and serves its purpose in avoiding that irritating Velcro rip effect on other pouches.I would definitely buy this product again; either for myself, or as a gift for family and friends.

This is a nice smart looking well made pouch. Recently, however, I purchased a Victorinox Traveller Lite and Amazon noted that the Traveller and this pouch were frequently bought together. I bought both. The Traveller Lite however is an extremely tight fit into this pouch. The Traveller might be seen as a 4 layer but it is significantly 'fatter' . This is due to the led torch and a thicker shell skin to accommodate the digital bits. A pouch fit for 5+ layers would be more appropriate for the Traveller Lite (I've reviewed the Traveller separately).

Really good value for money, well made leather pouch and fits my knife beautifully (Red Huntsman) It is the same colour as the knife and I think the Swiss popper button finishes it of nicely. Quite robust, can carry it in your pocket / bag or thread your belt through the slits in the back of the case. It would be really great if Victorinox made a match lanyard to top it off.Despatched from seller in Germany and able to track it on route through the various courier hubs. Very impressed by the vivid, berry colour of this case. It is a perfect match and a snug fit for my red Victorinox Explorer SAK. Good quality leather, handy belt loop and a snap-button closure than I find more reassuring than velcro. This is bright, stylish accessory that female SAK owners may find more attractive than the drab black or brown cases.

This is really nice. Better than I expected. Really well made and sturdy. My knife fits snug and the colour is perfect for the red SAK. I debated for a long time which case to get, and I’m really happy I chose this one. My knife is the huntsman and it fits like a glove. I would definitely recommend this.

Bought for the multi pocket knife (bought also on Amazon) as a gift for my nephew. Lovely colour and nice leather too!

Das ursprünglich zum Messer mitgelieferte schwarze Stoff-Etui mit Klett(!)-Verschluss hatte sich aufgelöst.Dies hier ist schön rot - mit Schweizer Wappen - und die Leute haben gleich weniger Angst :-DUnd der Druckknopf hält bisher auch länger als das sich mit der Zeit abnutzende Klett.
