Great for creating bioplastica
Used it for biomaterials research and the outcomes was amazing. It is safe to use and doesn't smell. I highly recommend it

Reliable and Effective Calcium Chloride
Intralabs Calcium Chloride is a top-notch product. It’s high-quality making it perfect for my needs, whether for health supplementation or other uses such as absorbing water from distilled solutions. The solution is white and absorbs well. A great choice for anyone needing reliable calcium chloride!

This works for pickles!
I read the list of ingredients for Ball's Pickle Crisp and found it is just pure calcium chloride so, as I couldn't see any difference aside from packaging, I decided to try this instead. The result was perfect, crisp garlic dill pickles, using the same recipe I've used before with a much less satisfactory outcome. No discernible taste. And as you use just one-eighth teaspoon per jar, it's not only very cheap - there's enough in this small packet o keep me going for years. A revolution.

Great
I got this to dilute and use for cheese making. It states it is food grade (I hope it is!). It's much much cheaper than the diluted "cheese specific" calcium chloride products out there. For anyone else who's curious, just fill a small jar with mineral water (around 400ml) and empty the whole packet in until crystals start to form at the bottom (this means the water is saturated). This is your solution to use where the calcium chloride is called for.

Mis-read the name, but well-packaged and arrived quickly
This arrived really quickly and it was packed suitably. I actually mis-read the item name (whoops!) and was going to use this for a science experiment at home. It didn't work for that, but I've since read it can be used for cheese-making and preservation of foodstuffs (as in pickling).

I’m a professional grower growing wholesale ornamental plants and use ...
I’m a professional grower growing wholesale ornamental plants and use calcium chloride in spray 1gram to 1 litre of water diluted and sprayed on to cropsIt just takes of any yellowing to the edge of leaves(a sign of lack of calcium in the plant) and also reduces the risk of rot in overwintering crops and its 10 maybe 20 times cheaper than any other spray proporting to do the same thingHope this helps someone

Very short use by date!
This item was delivered with a very short use by date so whilst I didn't send it back I didn't use it.I checked with the manufacturer (in the UK) who said it should have a much longer date so I can only assume it has sat in the Amazon warehouse for some time.As I was going to use this in my home brew chemistry I didn't want to risk it.
