I can't believe people are knocking off stars because of their own incompetence.
Bob is a GSD with quite advanced CDRM. He is the biggest, softest, most playable dog in the world and he loves his hot wheels. It was painful to see the state he'd got in to trying to walk around. He's still very fit, healthy and wants to run around plying with our other dog, he just couldn't stay upright. His wheels have given him a new lease of life. He took to it in minutes and within a couple of days was starting to learn to give lamp posts and bus stops a slightly wider berth. We know he was happy in it the other week when he took off down a woodland path, card bouncing around everywhere chasing a squirrel.True it does need to be assembled and being a practical type it didn't phase me. I think I had it together and on the dog in about 20mins. It comes in about 6 bit of frame plus the wheels and straps. 2 of the bits clip in to place and the others require a total of 4 bolts (tools are even supplied). The bottom piece does at first seem too long but this is to push the wheel base out wider to make it more stable. I can't believe reviewers are giving this a bad review because they have struggled with the assembly, they have obviously never bought furniture from IKEA. If you you can build a Billy book base this should be a doddle and once together it quite simply works. If you have looked at this product you probably have a very unhappy dog at the moment, don't be put off, experience the joy of having you dog back again just like we have.

well worth the money
I purchased this for my GSD who had lost use of back legs ,easy to assemble but not enough instructions how to use so went on youtube to watch videos how to use and build and put your dog in it have been using for last 6 weeks and has given us hope our dog will walk again well worth the money now hes improving with his walking he has tipped it over a few times on our walks and the small screw that hold some of frame in place that are adjustable not strong enough and need regular tightening but overall value for money

POORLY CONSTRUCTED; GREAT CONCEPT!
Although the product does the job somewhat, with a bit of adjustment to the poorly constructed Kart, be prepared to modify various things. The velcro strap in the middle of the two rear leg loops, keeping them together, just simply comes apart and some duct tape fixed that. The front bars holding the harness has a looped section keeping the harness from moving up and down the whole length of the metal - these get loose and the dog ends up on it's rear end so make sure the top harness is secured between the two plastic rings keeping it in place. If the dogs topples over in the Kart, the metal stabilisers simply bend. Can be positioned back again but will weaken it all eventually and will probably snap. Make sure all bolts and screws are secure as the whole thing feels a bit loose. It's a shame because a great idea is poorly manufactured and definitely not worth £154. I did look at the reviews for others, but thought as it was more expensive, it would be made of stronger components. It has given my dog a bit of mobility though, so mixed feelings really. You decide!

Initial impressions are good
Our GSD has no power in rear end now to stand he's 12. I looked at all the versions but decided on this one really because of previous reviews and substantial size of wheels. It wasn't cheap so I had high expectations of quality. It frame was quickly assembled and it gives me the impression of being sturdy. The harnesses took us ages to figure out even with instructions and You Tubing. I'm hoping the fixtures to the harness/ frame are adequately durable ; we'll see I'm reserving judgement although it definitely doesn't scream flimpsy . We couldn't figure out the purpose of two zip tyes/ties round one two fixtures on the harness. The support bars on the frame attached to the front harness we felt should have had padding .Initial thoughts are delighted and I certainly wouldn't advise even contemplating buying a cheap version if it's a big dog.Within a few minutes he seemed to happily trot in the garden with his back legs fully supported in slings which are padded.

Whoever designed the assembly instructions should be fired.
I bought this for my dog who's hind legs have completely given out, hoping this would give him another couple of weeks of life. Or at least allow him to go to his death with some dignity (It was an Alaskan Malamute)He did not accept the wheelchair and so he met his fate on the same day as it arrived. I do not fault the product for this. What I do fault the product for is quality of some materials and the instruction manual. The latter of which was created by an utter imbecile.Instructions for assembly were convoluted, with the initial steps for the back frame being in the wrong order. As it tells you to first mount the more narrow frame, after which you struggle to mount the second wider frame. This brings up the second point. Some materials, mainly the included wrench and nuts & bolts. The wrench damaged the nuts and became unusable as it couldn't get a grip. And after unscrewing one of the screws due to the aforementioned frame problem it lost thread so I couldn't place the nut back on it.Going back to instructions, the worst part was the harness mounting. The pictures on the instruction are close up and at weird angles. And considering you will be placing your (probably) very ill pet on top, it doesn't give you any faith, you're almost scared to do it because you're not sure if the harness is mounted on correctly. Disgraceful. And lastly, the pictures are black & white. That wouldn't be weird if not for the fact that there are a couple of pictures that do have colour AND THE WHOLE BOOK HAS A FRAME SURROUND IN COLOUR.Besides, the unit is not that big, why not ship it assembled with the user just needing to attach the wheels. I don't think anyone who gets this is in a mental state where they will be happy to follow along the terrible instructions like they are building a LEGO set.

Absolute junk
Where do I start? The metal is so cheap and unsturdy that no matter how much you tighten the bars, they still turn inward once the weight of the dog is on them and then scrub on the dog’s ribs/shoulders. The screws holding the wheels on come unscrewed as the wheelchair is in motion. So you’ll have to co tinuously stop to screw them back in. The harness is not designed to allow the dog to go to the bathroom, so unless you want to clean smeared poop off of the dog & harness, your dog will have to hold it. Also, the company wants to charge return shipping to send back the piece of crap wheelchair that they are selling. Please, save yourself the headache and don’t buy this wheelchair

Wish we’d bought it sooner!
This is a well-made, sturdy but light device. The instructions could have been a bit clearer. It was the right size for our Lab/GSD mix (Large wheelchair); you just have to adjust while assembling to fit your exact dog. Took a while for the dog to get the hang of it, but was great to see him supported and moving again. Honestly wish we’d bought it as soon as he started losing mobility from his arthritis/hip dysplasia.

Working Well
The media could not be loaded. My 14-year dog Brody took to this quickly and it allows him to take longer walks. He also can walk straight which I think is good PT for his weak side. I can't tell if it's the exact right height or if it's comfortable for him, but from my outside vantage point and the vets, it seems appropriate. It was very difficult to assemble. Forget the written instructions, find their video on Youtube. But even that video is not great. I had to rewatch it dozens of times. I also don't know what the velcro is for on the back strap, it's not serving any purpose. But overall and for the price we are very happy with the result.
