This very expensive, silky, lightweight serum from Algenist contains proven skin restoring Vitamin C in an impressive amount in a form known as 3-O Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, which has better stability than some other forms of vitamin C. It comes in a hygienic, airless pump dispenser, which I like, making it easy to use.Better still the formula also contains the cell-communicating ingredient niacinamide, antioxidant algae oil and extract, peptides, and a few skin-repairing ceramides and other antioxidant plant extracts. The formula should help to repair, firm, lighten brown spots, and brighten the complexion, but to get the best results from this it needs to be used under a high broad spectrum SPF day cream. It should suit most skin types, but it does contain a tiny amount of fragrance, which could be an issue if you have extra sensitive skin. I like it.
