Hi, the case comes on it’s own without any tools or other things like a volt meter, remember the photos are showing how it can be used. It comes with the sub-dividers and an internal storage box (black) as shown but understand no tools or other gadgets...hope that helps. BTW it’s superb, nothing else thus quality for such a great price from anyone else. Highly recommended!

What are the internal measurement for this case?

16" x 12" x5" deep additional storeage for small screw drivers etc in lid , there is a small removable box 11",5""wide

Is there enough room for a hacksaw and a hammer?

I carry a junior hacksaw and a short handle claw hammer. You can alter the internal dividers but not ideal.

What is the size of the largest tool holder slot inside the lid, would it be large enough for VDE tools?

Mine fits all my insulated screwdrivers . The bottom has adjustable panels . Used mine for about 18mounths No problems good strong box
