I've had mine for around 5yrs now and I purchased this one for my daughter who has recently purchased her own house. She loves it so much I had to buy it for her. It's a beautiful, frosted glass shade with a metallic, silver base which you tap for various levels of brightness. I still have the same bulb in which I purchased all those yrs ago. Also the bulbs are cheaper at Amazon for 2 than wilkinsons for 1.

Great product for a small space and it gives off a good light. My only criticism is that, if you have it on a dressing table or similar, it shine up in your face more than out into the room. That could be a good thing if you are putting make-up on but it is quite a bright light in your eyes. Well made though and perfect if using it to put light into a small room.

The shade was so fragile I caught it on the tv as I was placing it in position and it just broke in bits.

This is a lovely small lamp ideal for the shelf above my bed between the fitted wardrobes, when you touch the base the dimmer switch in it gives you different variations of light, the brightest is great for reading in bed, contrary to some of the reviews I read about it, if assembled properly the shade is firmly fixed to the base and there is a tool for inserting the bulb, I am so pleased I took the risk of ordering it, I thoroughly recommend it, and it is a very reasonable price.

Pretty and Practical, particularly as a bedside light. The lowest setting just like candle light and good enough to read by, also takes up minimal space. Noticed a slight chip around rim of glass shade, but too minor to bother to return and re order. Will check out more lamps from this company as designs are good.

I bought two of these as bedside lamps. When they arrived they were smaller than I thought they would be but still quite pretty. However the nightmare began when I tried to put the bulbs in and replace the shade. OMG! I managed eventually to sort out the first one but after countless fails with the second, my partner noticed that the design of that one was faulty making it impossible to secure the shade to the base. I would have settled for a replacement but was only offered my money back upon proof of purchase ( keep your receipt!). I also had to pay to send the faulty light back. Would definitely not recommend this product.
