great. brill colour!
A lovely purple colour had it about a month now love it, it does wash out very quickly and fades but its a semi permanent dye so its going to do that. So I re dye it every week to keep the colour exactly the same but you could go a few weeks id say inbetween dying, I do mine weekly that's my choice its not really recommend for your hair and you definitely don't 100% need to lol. Its cheap so its easy to buy more I think the 4 pack is a bargain ot lasts me a month. I've no real preference between this and other brands such as directions, pravana, star gazer , manic panic, I only really switch brands to get a certain colour that a certain brand does but I love crazy colours and its a lovely purple. (your hair needs to be light\bleached prior to this if its not the dye will literally not do eff all! Shampoo prior to dying do NOT condition and dry your hair till its damp but not wet! then dye it works best on damp hair but if its too wet the dye will just run down your head. For best results dry shampoo inbetween washes to allow you to go longer without shampooing Thus hair won't fade as fast.)

No reaction, definitely semi permanent and covered my green hair
I've never ever used crazy colour dye before. I tried the canary yellow around 2 weeks ago and the formula is great, works really well. I wanted to change things up though which is why I got the semi permanent black. I've had green hair for over a year and I'm constantly wanting to add other colours with it because just green feels so plain. I didn't like the yellow too much and decided to do half green and half black this week. I've never had black hair because I'm actually allergic to black henna tattoos and whenever I've patch tested black dyes, I have gotten reactions to them but no other colour. Patch tested the black and it was fine so i used it but still took precautions. To my surprise, there was no reaction! It did make my hair feel a bit stiff after using it like all the oils got stripped from my hair but the emerald green I used for the other side felt smooth, soft and silky. I used to always use la riche directions but have found the colour slips from my hair in an instant because the porosity of my hair is so bad it doesn't even take to permanent dye. I haven't washed my hair since I only dyed it yesterday but it has definitely rubbed off onto my pillows and wall that I lean against. I'm really happy with this brand of dye and might use it more often because the colours are so vibrant and are WAY better for me than la riche directions and those harmful box dyes. The only thing I had to do differently was add a small dot of the black to the emerald green because apparently it comes out more neon and I wanted the blue from the black to make it a bit more 'pine green'. All in all, I'm impressed and will be buying from this brand more often. (UPDATE) the black definitely has faded which is perfect! I wasnt sure if I was committed to the black so I'm glad it had faded. The black did cover my green hair too. All in all, I love these hair dyes!

Great colours and worth it
I love this product. I tried 6 colours: pink, cyclamen, red, blue, green and purple. The pink and the green are the most fickle and almost disappear after 3-4 washes while the red and cyclamen are vibrant and look good for longer. The blue is good and even though it fades later it still looks nice. The purple is my favourite and remains purple for longer but it eventually turns to lighter blue. Of course you have to bleach your hair to apply these colours and I've never tried them on my natural brown. The bleach degrades the hair as you'd expect but the colours don't really. I do apply some coconut oil to the hair every once in a while so it's still good. I have to recolour my hair about every 3 weeks or so lest it becomes too dull but it only takes me about 2 to 2.5 hours on my shoulder length hair. The colour will stain fabrics and will remain on my hands if it gets there for a couple of days but it's expected. I love my hair with these colours and also get loads of compliments so this is well worth it.

Prefer it to others, p&p is cheaper from Crazy Colour
Been using this for....wow, well over 2years now! MY ONLY CRITICISM is that the instructions state that you should use it on damp hair - don't!!! If you apply it to damp hair it dilutes and doesn't come out as vividly. DO NOT let hairdressers tell you differently, mine wouldn't listen to me when he applied it after I'd had my roots bleached, he ended up re-applying it a second time at his own expense because it looked so bad and it was nothing to do with the bleach, the ends were just as bad! I prefer it to some of the others because of HOW it fades out (sounds weird but bare with me)... I haven't found that it lasts much more or less than other products but on top of my bleached section it looks just as advertised at first then fades to a vivid electric blue, then a turquoise. Whereas other products have fade to horrible skanky-looking pink/lilac colours within a week or two of dying my hair, people are asking me if I've changed the colour to blue because its so nice it looks intentional rather than looking rubbish as if it's faded out. This probably has something to do with the reddish tones washing out and the blue fixing to the bleach better. Either way I can get away with not dying it much longer than with the last product I was using, it's cheaper than the one I used before and I prefer the consistency as it spreads better so until I fancy a change I'll keep using it! If you're going ANY funky colour on a short term basis think long and hard and talk to your hairdresser!!! Once you bleach and mess around it's not easy or cheap to go back, especially to blonde or light brown and you can't blame hair dye for your bad decision making! P.s it's cheaper to buy from the website, their p&p is free.

The black dye turns your hair BLUE
Oh how I wish I'd paid more attention the reviews specifically about the black shade. I bought this specific product on the recommendation of my hairdresser, who suggested mixing the dye with an equal amount of conditioner and applying it like a mask for 20 minutes. My hair is naturally fairly dark, I've been colouring it for years to disguise the greys. A while ago I made the decision to stop colouring it and see how I look with my natural hair plus the grey. I've got about 4cm of roots and there is an obvious line. Recently my hairdresser put in some highlights to blend the roots in a bit and then suggested the above mask idea to blend everything in. It seemed like a good idea, in theory. Things started to go wrong straight away. I carefully sectioned my hair and used both a brush and my gloved hands to apply the dye mixture. Within minutes my scalp started to turn bright blue but there was no going back at that point. I applied it to the rest of my hair and hoped for the best. 15 minutes later I rinsed it out. And rinsed. And rinsed. The water ran blue, then purple, then a dirty blue. I shampooed and rinsed again, until I ran out of hot water (approx 15 minutes) but the water never ran clear. By now my bathtub was also stained a dirty blue with purple patches. Right away I could see my scalp is still bright blue. And as I dried my hair, the full scale of the disaster became apparent. Yes, my hair is darker but its very patchy and there is still some orange showing through from my previous colour. When the light shines on it, my hair is in fact a dark dirty blue / teal shade. Worse than that, all the highlights and the natural grey strands are a bright but dirty blue/green colour that looks horrendous. I've no idea how I'm going to rectify this. My parting is very noticeably blue, as are random streaks of hair. I guess I'll be spending the rest of the weekend endlessly washing my hair in an attempt to get rid of the awful colour. But I've got a horrible feeling I will be seeing my hairdresser again very soon

It Could Be Anything In That Bottle!
I haven't used this product as of yet as it arrived with zero labelling just a plain old pink bottle, could be anything in there. To be fair the liquid inside looks like what I ordered but that's about it. Very disappointed to why this is a blank looking item??? The only thing on it was a barcoded sticker! Thankfully I have used this product before but in a different colour so that kind of helps but this no label thing is frankly not good enough!
