A real timesaver
I bought these to make connections under a model railway baseboard, I had considered soldering the joints but couldn't face soldering about 100 joints working in that position.Once you get the technique of holding the loose wire between your 2 fingers (to ensure it remains pushed right into the scotch lock) it becomes easy to close the scotch lock using mole grips (set to the correct gap) in your other hand. Excellent value and 100% effective.

snap lock connectors
easy to use no struggling with a screwdriver. just put over wire thread what you are joining in other hole and press metal piece with pliers then clip top on. i have used these on all my model railway electrics

Ok product
The clips don't work as well as the ones I bought elsewhere but they were considerably cheaper so as usual you get what you pay for.

Buy Beter This Is Not Up To Decent Standard.
Cheap and nasty. Very hard to open to get cable in. Cable stop on one side is useless, it collapses with little pressure.

Splice splice baby!
Gone are the days of soldering wires to 5v or 12v bits for leds! I can not splice into the main molex and connect using these easy bits of kit!

Make sure you get the correct size (by diameter of the wire)
I have found that for slightly larger wires you need to close the blade with pliers and to avoid bending the blade you need to use parallel pliers for preference.

Quick and easy
Using these to wire up a model railway. Nice and quick and easy. Beats lying under the layout with a soldering iron!
