Warriors All Stars (PS4)

Was looking for another good Warriors game after being blown away buy the criminally underrated Hokuto Musou 2 - and this fit the bill perfectlySometimes I just like to mash the square button and block with my faceLots of characters, massive maps to cover = hours of funWish they Would have included Kenshiro

On first glance you'd think this was just another one in a long line of Koei's button mashing warriors series but you would be wrong. That basic warriors set up of musou attacks and the like is still there but there's been a few good additions like support attacks (from 4 back up heroes) and the new Musou rush. The missions are more varied than usual too. It's not just a matter of 'conquering the map' like usual. You have time sensitive challenges, rescues and the like. There's also a healthy selection of heroes from the ever reliable Yukimura Sanada to the crazy Nobunyaga Oda (a little cat with a cape and a gun, I kid you not!).The only setback for me is (so far) the lack of game modes. There's only the Story mode, though it is far more wide and varied than usual with 3 warring royal factions and a lot of endings to find. I just hope Koei isn't just going to leave this as it is, I think an Empire mode would work well with this.

I bought this for my husband so i won't be playing it myself. However, he was exicted to have it and he enjoys it so to me thats a 5 star product.

Didn't know this game was out or existed. Love the fact that dead or alive characters are in the game. Only so far in to the game. But loving it.

It’s a typical warriors game but it’s neat idea that franchises joining together in this universes.

I purchased this knowing it was PAL but I’ve imported so many games over the years I didn’t think anything of it. And the price was much cheaper than the US version. Once it got here, the case was in German, so I was a little concerned, but the game is just the English version. So it’s exactly the same as the US. But I doubt it works with the US DLC, so you may want to look into that, if you really wanna buy some 5 year old DLC costumes.I had been reading up on the game for a long time, I’ve wanted this for years but Koei never it’s their games on sale, so I ended up looking on Amazon.I’m not going to review the game, but it’s so much easier and fun than all the complaints I read about on Gamefaqs and places like that. I think most of those people have never played Musou games before the reviews this one. The maps are very busy, there are battles happening all over the map, it’s easy to read the pop ups that tell you where to go next. The whole point is, it levels you up very quickly, so you just go through doing a combo and wiping out dozens of enemies. Like every warriors game lol.I almost exclusively play the anime Musou games. Gundam, One Piece, Berserk, AoT, Faye Extella. This is by far one of my favorites. And I’m definitely picking up Samurai 5 after playing this lol.

My son bought this after seeing a review for it online. He has been playing it nonstop! Good graphics, weird storyline (as to be expected) and similar to Dynasty Warriors in gameplay
