[Updated]Hand Grip Compatible with Nintendo 2DS XL with 1 Stylus and 1 Clear Case Compatible with Nintendo 2DS XL

Years ago, I bought a similar model to this but it was big and clunky. This one, however, feels like it has a regular controller profile. It feels very similar to my Switch Pro Controller, but just for my New 2DS XL. I was confused at first because it said it's a 3-piece set (clear top guard, ergonomic grip, and stylus), and I assumed the stylus would be similar to the OEM from Nintendo but thought it had fallen out of my box or just didn't ship - I'm glad I looked around because it's stealthily hidden in the left hand grip! LOVE that design, so that the stylus always stays with the grip! I do think that the plastic lip on the stylus is machined a little big and makes it really hard to pull out of the grip, but that would be my only fault for the product. It fits my hands well and makes it comfortable, it allows for access to the game card slot (older models did not), and it comes with a protective top shell AND a built-in stylus. I love it and highly recommend this product for the New 2DS XL.

I have the Hylian Shield edition of the 2DS XL. It's not most ergonomic device in the world, which wasn't really a problem until I got around to Samus Returns and suddenly needed some of the buttons to be a little easier to get to. The Satisfye grip pretty much saved my handheld Switch experience, so I went looking for something like that, only for the 2DS XL. This looks like it will do the trick. If you're familiar with the Satisfye grip, this is not the same kind of quality. But it's also a lot cheaper so that's no surprise. I see some other reviewers have issues with fit, but mine fits perfectly and snapped on easily. There are four small tabs that secure the grip to the device, and I'm not sure how much abuse they can take, but unless you're the kind of gamer that strangles your controller when things get exciting you'll probably be fine. All the same, I don't plan on taking this off and on a lot. All of the ports, buttons, volume, etc. are easily accessible. If you have the same 2DS XL I do, the clear plastic cover will not fit. I didn't really care about that, though. I just wanted the grip. It also no longer fits neatly into the case I bought when I originally picked up the console, so I'll need to figure out a new solution for transport. But those are the only minor issues I've seen with an item that makes the 2DS XL surprisingly comfortable to play. Now I'm off to hunt some Metroids.

I have to say this product is worth it. It's much better than holding the 3DS without it. It has easily extended my possible play time by at least an hour. But that being said, it doesn't magically make the 2DSXL super comfortable for those with larger hands or longer fingers.It's also true that it comes off easily, but when you're holding it and playing it, there's no need to worry about it. If you tossed this into a loosely packed bag, the grip may come off.The top she'll protector is actually really nice, the lip of the shell meets the 2ds so perfectly and smoothly it's like it's not even there. Highly underrated part of this product.The included stylus is an exact copy of the nintendo one but of much lower quality. It works, but there's no reason to use it unless you lost the oem one. You can swap them out if you prefer the stylus to be on the grip even.If you're an adult who wants to catch up on 3DS games, I highly recommend getting this or any other grip. Even the XL system is painful to hold after even 30 mins of light gaming (like an rpg or slower game). This one is certainly worth the money and has made gaming on 2dsxl much more comfortable.

I just want to thank all the previous reviewers who complained about the earlier product because this is now everything I wanted and more. Great work on this one, really no complaints. I wouldn't mind if the grips were a little bigger, but I have big hands so I'm used to it, for most it should fit quite comfortably, but just for reference. If I REALLY had to nit pick then I'll say the glass cover doesn't snap in as "firmly" as I'd like, it sort of snaps on and stays on well enough that it won't just fall off, but it's not cell phone case tight or anything. Sort of the same with the controller addon, it doesn't stay in SUPER securely, but it won't fall out if you're laying down and holding it up or shaking it or anything, but it doesn't take much too pull it out either. This isn't necessarily a bad thing but it does feel a little odd. No I'm not saying either piece is "loose" it just doesn't necessarily feel tight tight.And for those who also bought the standup charging dock, it's probably obvious but I will confirm the DS does NOT fit into the stand with either of the accessories on. However as mentioned above it's quite easy to pop them both on/off so it's really not that big of a deal.But otherwise it doesn't feel cheap, snaps right on, extra stylus, and even with the cover and a charger it fits in the small size 2DS case I bought. Well done, I'll take it

The shape of the grip is very nice, every button and slot on the 2DS feels very accessible and the stylus in mine removes easily.There is one caveat, the clips that hold the 2DS in are very small, so the system didn't really "snap in" to the grip. Applying pressure to just one side of the 2DS would cause the console to rock back and forth within the grip, it also didn't look sturdy enough to retain the 2DS if I flipped it upside down. Prior to finding my solution, I removed the grip after five minutes of playtesting and didn't touch it again for two weeks.I really liked the idea of the grip so I wanted to try and make it work. I ended up adding multiple layers of masking tape to both my 2DS and the grip, then added a generous layer of hot glue before replacing the system in the case. Now the grip feels rock solid. I have no fears of the system coming loose and regardless of how hard I mash the buttons there isn't a millimeter of play. With this mod I am very happy with the function, and since everything on the 2DS is accessible with the grip on I find no reason to remove it (though due to the masking tape and hot glue I can remove it without leaving any residue).

Tenia problemas para jugar mi 2ds xl pero con este grip el problema ha desaparecido, aparte viene con un stylus extra y se hace un stand para poder jugar mas a gusto (como el Kid Icarus y demas juegos similares), una excelente compra!

These grips enhances the comfort of playing the 2dsXl tremendously, especially for platforming games. It easily fits with the console no problems and everything is accessible. There is very little assembly required and it comes with an extra stylus as a bonus. Most importantly it stopped that discomfort and fatigue that I was having, even when I was playing in a shorter amount of time. Highly recomended!

説明文だと画面保護フィルムも付いてる様に見えるが、商品箱の説明を読んでも、写真の通りグリップ・上カバー・スタイラスの３つのみです。グリップ自体は下部分が空いていて、付けたままカートリッジの交換なども可能で気に入りました。仰向けでプレイしたくて購入したので、割と簡単に嵌めるだけなんで不安はありましたが、グリップ感や使用感は問題ないです。不安なら底面に両面テープでも貼ると安心です。重くなるので上面ケースは不使用ですし、スタイラスはお気に入りのを使うので使用していません。もう少し安いと嬉しいが、他の同等製品よりは安めなんでこんなもんでしょうか。減点理由は、説明だとフィルムが付いてそうだったのと、アマゾンの不手際で日時指定したのに配送が遅れたので、その辺の気分の問題です。商品自体は特に不満はありません。

Es un gran aggarre que me ayuda mucho porque el 2ds xl es muy incomodo sin el, la patita de atras me ayuda mucho jugando juegos como bloons o kid icarius pero me ubiera gustado que le ubieran añadido un material antiresbalante atras.
