Great for jams or chutneys
I've got 4 allotment plots and so in the autumn/winter have an abundance of veg & fruit that need storing so I make chutneys. These are an absolute bargain and do the job just nicely!

Essential for Every Jam Maker
Kilner Wax Discs are a simple yet essential tool for anyone who enjoys homemade preserves. This pack of 200 white discs includes two sizes, making them perfect for sealing both 1 lb and 2 lb jars. They help form an airtight seal on the surface of your jams and chutneys, preventing mold and keeping everything fresh and delicious for longer. What makes these discs so handy is how easy they are to use. Just place a disc wax-side down on top of your preserve while it’s still hot, and it will seal as it cools—no mess, no fuss. They work brilliantly alongside Kilner jars or any traditional glass jar, and they’re a great alternative to more expensive or bulky sealing systems.Whether you’re an experienced home canner or just starting out, Kilner’s wax discs are a cost-effective and reliable addition to your kitchen kit. With 200 in a pack, you’ll be set for many batches to come. A small item that makes a big difference in preserving quality—definitely a must-have!
