Great item,works brilliantly.
I had a look at a lot of these before buying this one based on reviews, and I'm glad I got this one.I've had a couple of trips out using it,and it works as it's meant to-is very stable, and easy to carry, and also cleans very well when used.I've cooked some noodles and mushrooms in billy cans on it,and used it to cook using a larger frying pan-with better results than my electric oven, really!.The slats of metal that go in the top mean you can rest very sizeable,or quite small camping cups on it,and it's very stable.Goes together very easily, and folds away, and is put in its case very easily.A must have for bushcraft, either as your main firestove,or as a separate one for boiling water,or cooking next to your main fire. The heat from it with some decent wood is excellent, and the large space in the side makes it easy to top up wood.Be sure to have plenty, because it burns so well that you can get through 'basic' shop bought wood quite quickly.Absolutely love it,and easy for having 'discreet' fires,too...

One if the best things I've bought. Ever!
Hands down the best thing I have ever bought for the money. I love gadgets, I love camping and I love cooking.I've got to say, even though the reviews were really good, I thought it would be one of those things where the expectation outweighed the reality. I had visions of the panels warping with the heat so that it would never be as good from then. I was wrong. So light and flat when packed. In fact, it is so small I forgot where I had packed it with my camping gear! 😂When I did locate it, it took me less than a minute to assemble it and it's so easy you don't even need the instructions. The aperture is just the right size for the kindling sticks you buy at the garage and, when lit, this things gives out far more heat than it's size should be able to, it's unreal and literally acted as my campfire on a very cold autumn night.Cooked on it too, very sturdy. No warping...at all! It cleaned with a cloth so we'll that it almost looked like new when I put it back in the bag.I'd suggest putting it on a hard flat surface such as bricks, like you'll see I did in the photos. Otherwise, this thing gets so hot it may very well burn it's way through to the earth's core!I intend to use it in the back yard over the winter as an intimate fire pit.I can't recommend this highly enough. Value for money is great, functionality and design superb.

Great bit of kit but has warped after first use
Light weight, sturdy and fairly easy to put together after a couple of attempts due to no instructions. Can be used with a trangia stove if placed on its lid to boil a large mug of water in about 12 mins. It's canny for burning wood but you need to keep feeding it pretty often. The segments have all warped a bit after first use, not totally surprised but I'm wondering if this is the norm?

Great for a contained fire and camping
This is a great little stove. Not the best for cooking, I prefer a circular wood gas stove to cook on. But for having a little fire in the back garden which won't damage the ground it's great. It chucks out enough heat for 1 or 2 people. 4* for sturdiness, but that's not the best feature about it, it's light, sturdy enough, and was a lot better than I expected. Perfect for camping. You can cook on it if you want to but it will slightly tarnish whatever pot or kettle you are using. You can load it up and overfill it and it will hold a lot of wood.

Compact, Light, Sturdy and Does the Job
This is a very practical stove, which I use with a spirit burner. It's easy to assemble and strong enough to support a kettle full of water etc. I can recommend it.

Sturdy and we'll built Tough as nails.
Sturdy well built and adaqute for small camping outing. Strong and solid. Haven't tried the item for wood burning yet but everything else seems great. A real nice and neat fold away feature with soft sturdy fabric cover. That was a great feature. Not cheap and nasty.Product update:: After using this for camping I can honestly say this item is absolutely amazing. Wow. Retains the heat so well and despite what reviews say about adding extra holes I had no problem burning dead dry wood in the handfuls. Shape of the unit doesn't loose shape even after burning for a good 1hr plus. Over 3 days use of solid wood burning. Now 5 stars. Proper little power horse.

Good little stove
Very good little wood stove at a good price, much cheaper than others on the market and very well built and sturdy when slotted together. Got quite a substantial weight to it which could be good or bad, it's definately sturdy. Pots fit on top very nicely and it works great at cooking things with a bunch of small sticks, seems like it could be used with fuel tablets but I have not tried that. You could probably try it with a meth burner although it is not really intended for that. I have used it a few times camping now and it worked well although the metal has warped but not much can be done about that and it doesn't affect using the stove once it is slotted together. The only thing is that it does not come with anything to catch the ash so when using it I folded a few layers of tin foil under it to catch the ash which works nicely and I store that tinfoil in the stove pouch so I always have it.
