Perfect beginner piano
I got this to mess around with and learn some chords because I was bored. It’s been really cool. I got the simply piano app and have been doing about 20-30 minutes 3 days a week and have picked up a little piano skill. Planning to blow my wife’s mind in a few months (working remote so this is a surprise I’m gonna give her). Like people said the speakers aren’t great but it works for everything I need and for the cost seems really well built. People hating on it need to understand that if they want a better sound or experience they need to spend 3x the money. For me this is ideal. Highly recommend.

This is a great portable piano
The sound quality is good. The set up was easy. For a beginner, it’s really very nice.

Works flawlessly with PianoVision for Quest 3
I was searching for a reasonably priced keyboard specifically to use with the PianoVision app on Quest 3. Without going too in-depth, PianoVision is a mixed-reality application that will map your physical keyboard and provide numerous overlays with instruction courses from beginner to advanced. The app can use either literally any keyboard/piano, but the app also supports midi. Which leads me to this particular keyboard. So if you are using or interested in PianoVision, the keyboard I purchased works very well. I'll explain how there are two ways to use it with the app. The keyboard charges via USB C and that port is also your MIDI out. You can merely run a USB C to USB C cable directly from the keyboard to the Quest 3 headset and it will automatically be detected as a MIDI device and the app can see it. The next way you can connect is via your PC. In this case, I ran a USB A to USB C cable from my PC to the keyboard. You must install the PianoVision software on your PC (or Mac) and connect it (which is really just 1 simple click) and the app on your Quest will see it. The only real caveat to using a connection to the PC is that it introduces some latency--but that is NOT caused by the keyboard, that's just the inherent latency of connecting over a network.I watched a ton of YouTube video reviews of this model keyboard. It is sold under a variety of names, but they're all exactly the same. Nearly all reviews agree--the speakers on this thing are pretty bad. But if you use headphones (or in my case the Quest 3), then it's just not an issue. And if you're just wanting to practice then the sound is decent enough. And you can always just plug in an external speaker if you want. As of late 2023, you're not going to find a cheaper full-sized keyboard with MIDI than this model. It's portable, it can easily be folded & stored, it has a modern USB C MIDI port that works. And if you're looking for a keyboard that works flawlessly with PianoVision, then this model is perfect.

Not bad
Keyboard is ok for practice or a new player. Definitely not pro sound, but if hooked up to a decent amp not bad.

Excellent piano to take anywhere.
The piano is very portable, which allows me to take it with me when I travel (work or vacation), I have had it with me for 4 months and I have taken it with me on 2 trips of more than a week, which allowed me to practice and entertain myself trying to learn new songs.I like it because it has bluetooth and allows me to connect it to a tablet and use it with the piano learning apps, and headphone connection to practice without disturbing anyone, it is very entertaining to practice with this piano. The keys are sensitive to pressure and are semi heavy, the battery lasts about 10 hours of use, the sound is not very good but mostly serves to practice with it outside the home or as a piano for a complete beginner like me.

Would be great if I could read and write Mandarin
The keyboard is decent enough for the price. Downside is that the native app won’t let you register an account with a phone number, it gives some error that all phone numbers are invalid. The only way to register an account is with some crazy chinese instant messaging app.

Much better than expected for entry level!
First!! I would say this is a well made keyboard for entry level people who are just starting on learning how to play piano or keyboards. Only with this in mind then this should be up to your expectations, but if you are expecting something more than that then I think you should pay the premium and get something really good like Yamaha P-125 for example.IMO, learning a new instrument is tough and easy to give up. Therefore, beginners should not look for something premium. Still, something that is good enough that it doesn’t sound like a toy. Especially for those that are under $100…..Now, if you shop with a beginner point of view there is only a few you need to keep in mind. First, sounding of the keyboard. Second, the quality, touch and feel of the keyboard. Last, the functionality of it.Now back in to the review of this keyboard.Sound 4/5Surprisingly this keyboard has very loud sound. If you turn it all the way up to max, even if you are playing at the basement your whole house is going to hear it. However, this sound is not cheap! If you ever bought one of those cheap keyboard then you should what I meant. Those sounding like a cheap toy. Though, the speaker is great and lots of sound effects are included in this keyboard. The reason why I would say buy a good piano like Yamaha is because even though it’s not a toy, it does not produce the classical piano sound that big manufacturers put a lot of money in to for R&D to make a $1000 keyboard having the sound of a $500k piano. Standalone just speaking of the speakers themselves it’s really good.Quality and touch 4.5/5Now, for a $1000 dollar keyboard not only it has good sound but it should have a great quality and texture to it. Which it makes you feel like you were playing on a classic one. To make this happen there is 2 factors. One is to have weighted keys, which means you can feel the heft of the key and it reacts and produces the same amount of energy of the sound when you hit it. The lighter you hit the lighter the sound it produce. Second, would be the quality and texture of the key. Even for keyboard at a premium, most likely they would still be plastic. In my opinion this keyboard has very good touch of the key, not to say they are the best, but if you compare plastic to plastic. You can’t really make much out of it either. Even compared to a premium one this keyboard still feels very solid.Functional 3/5Although this keyboard does offer over 100+ sound effect, but other than that not much more. It only serves you with the basic function. Which like I said in the beginning this is only a entry level keyboard. However spending $200 for a entry keyboard is it worth it?I would probably say no……. Maybe a toy is enough? But, out of all the good sound it produces and quality it has. It’s a folding keyboard!!!!!With what I was looking for an entry level keyboard there is also one big factor in my mind is that it must be easy to store or carry, because you never know if you really gonna play on them everyday or not. You might easily lose your interest in the first month and put it away. Therefore having it easy to fold and store is big for me…. So I can just put them away and take them out when I like, even if it would be a year or later.Lastly, this keyboard is charged with type-c same like the new iPhone 15, not only its fast to charge but the battery in them last for a long time.To be honest, with this kind of conveniences I really thought this would be a toy like keyboard. But once I got my hands playing on them and having fun with it. I would say it really was well made and matches it’s price tag for sure. Since it’s easy to carry, one day even if I bought a premium keyboard to enjoy. This would be a good instrument to band with my friends because it’s loud and don’t feel bad if it breaks when playing them on a pool party.

Great for an apartment
PROSThis full-size keyboard is easy to fold up and store out of the way. To play, it can be placed anywhere, even on the kitchen table. It charges conveniently by USB and once charged it lasts a long time. With the carrying case, it's easy to bring with you anywhere. They keys have a good weight to them. It's also very nice looking. It comes with headphones and a sustain pedal.Excellent customer service from the seller!CONSEven on low volume, it is loud for an apartment but it comes with headphones. There is a bit of a background buzzing sound but turning off the light-up feature (by long-pressing the metronome button) reduces this sound. For what it is, I still give it five stars and would recommend, as an affordable, compact and portable option with full-size playability. Perfect for learning (and also perfect for kids with two homes!)

pretty good
Seems worth it for what it is. Only real complaint I have is the 'weighted' function seems inconsistent. Other than that, everything works well, very practical. Plug and play MIDI is great

An astonishing value, full of surprises.
When I decided on the folding 88-key keyboard (rather than the 61-key model Cossain offers) the advertisement didn't explicitly state that it had an onboard rechargeable battery, but it indeed does! Like most other reviewers point out, the built-in speakers are a bit muffled and tinny, but at least they are something. So, what I have is a very portable 88-key keyboard that I can unfold and noodle around with without having to stretch a single wire. The piano comes pre-installed with dozens of preset timbres, and I was amused to see that many of them appear to overlap many of the default library of tones you'll find in the old Yamaha DX series keyboards, (DX7, DX27).I am very happy with this keyboard, and my biggest complaint (as of now) is that the velocity sensitivity seems a bit "steppy". The difference between a quiet note and a full volume note doesn't require much difference in playing force. Maybe on the bright side this will teach me to play with a little more assertiveness! On that note, the keys offer a little bit of resistance, which I understand to be the whole point of weighted keys. Some reviewers complained of the keys moving together, which is caused by some stripes of clear blue tape which stabilize the keys against vibration during transportation. This tape must be removed before playing.Great product.

Keys don't work.
I was very excited to receive my keyboard to start teaching myself piano again. But the second c,d,e,f and g notes up from middle c do not seem to work properly. They are very quiet, almost muted. But the keys before and after them produce nice clear sound. But these keys do not. It's like that for all the different voices ( effects ) that I have tried. I am pretty sure I will be returning this because of these keys. Which is very disappointing, as I was very happy to get this.
