Affordable and Compact USB Speakers with Decent Sound
Iโve been using the Logitech OEM S150 2.0 Speaker System for a couple of weeks now, and for the price, itโs a solid set of speakers that deliver more than expected, especially for those on a budget or in need of a simple, no-fuss option for basic audio needs. Design and Build Quality: These speakers are compact and lightweight, perfect for a desk setup where space is limited. They have a clean, minimalist design that fits well alongside my monitor and other peripherals without taking up much room. The build quality is decent โ while theyโre mostly plastic, they donโt feel too flimsy. The USB connection for both power and audio is convenient, especially if you want to avoid using a traditional power socket. Sound Quality: For a 2.0 system at this price point, the sound quality is pretty good. The audio is clear for general tasks like watching YouTube videos, streaming music, and making video calls. While they lack heavy bass and wonโt impress an audiophile, they do a fine job for casual listening and basic multimedia use. The volume gets reasonably loud without distorting, but theyโre not designed for filling large rooms with sound. Ease of Use: Setup couldnโt be easier โ theyโre plug-and-play with no drivers required. Just connect the USB to your computer or laptop, and youโre ready to go. The volume control buttons on the front are easy to use, though I do wish there was a bit more fine-tuning ability, as the jumps in volume can be a bit noticeable at times. Portability: One of the best things about this system is how portable it is. Because theyโre powered by USB and so compact, Iโve taken them along on trips to use with my laptop. They donโt weigh down my bag and offer much better sound than my laptopโs built-in speakers.

Compact speakers
Easy to set up. Sound quality ok for just a bit of background noise in the office whilst at work. Could have done with a longer cord between the left and the right speaker - i found it was tricky to get them lined up the way I wanted. They are a compact size and have a quality feel to them. Pretty pleased with them overall

Astonishing
I've been a musician for 25 years. If you want bass, forget these. If you have cloth ears, forget these. If you just want speakers that thump and hiss, forget these. if you want speakers for an incredibly low price that bring out the emotion in the music, don't even read to the end of this review, order them. When they arrived, I was immediately disappointed. The cardboard box from the postman was too light. "These can't be the speakers. I hope they're not the speakers", I thought. They were. Opened the box. Too small. Too light. Damn. Will have to send them back. What the hell, might as well listen to them. Got all the polythene off them eventually, plugged them in. Set the audio options so that the ugly 'USB AUDIO' was selected. Opened iTunes. Hit play. Hey, these aren't bad! They're pretty musical. Within 30 seconds I heard things in a tracks I've listened to dozens of times that I'd never heard before. Wow! Put on something with a lot of bass. There wasn't a lot there, but what there was seemed pretty accurate. Played through bits of 20 or 30 tracks I know very well. I'd have been perfectly happy listening to them all the way through. The wire between the speakers is about a metre in length The only reason these cost a tenner is that they're light and plastic and cheap to manufacture. Otherwise they ooze class. I'm going to buy another pair to carry around with me and keep these for my bedroom. Biggest bargain I've seen for a long time. Just wondering if I can find a sneaky way to add a subwoofer to add in the bass...

Really pleased; work well; and do not buzz.
Really pleased; work well; and do not buzz, which my old ones did when they were supposed to be quiet.

These little speakers are wonderful. For their price
These little speakers are wonderful. For their price, I would even say outstanding. I did however give this four stars and for the reason that there is a little bit tinny coming from them, however as I said, for the price you can not really complain. They are powered by USB, which is superb as this means that you do not need to use a socket to power these up. When the PC is powered off, so are the speakers. My only other reason for not giving them 5 stars, are the fact these are not wall mountable. I did however mount them on the wall. CAUTION: I done this knowing I would void any warranty on these, however given the price I was willing to take the risk. I also tested them prior and know they worked well enough. I removed the black speaker padding on the front, which showed up 3 screw nails, and there are 2 screw nails on the back. Once all are removed, you would need to be careful, but pull the front of the housing apart from the rear. The speaker however is connected to the front part so it is helpful to have a 3rd hand here. Use a pilot drill to drill out the back housing, just on the curve and from there, use a 1 inch screw and put it in to the wall. After this, put the three front screws back in, and then replace the front cover. Forget about the two rear screws as that will not be possible to do but that will be them mounted on the wall. Total time for me to do this was 10 minutes. As I said, you need to use caution and understand that this will invalidate your warranty and if anything goes wrong, you will not be allowed to return for replacement but as I said previously, given the cost of them, I took the inconvenience that they can not be wall mounted and weighted it up against the cost and decided it was worth it. Amazing set of speakers and once they are mounted on the wall, they look good and are out of the road.

Just awful
I hardly ever leave reviews but want to know who is giving these 4/5 stars and what they are taking? Used for less than a few hours and returned and went back to using my ancient Bluetooth speaker because the sound was so bad even after trying every Windows setting, custom sound mixer and repositioning in case it was just interference from something nearby and the sound is abysmal. I've used Logitech keyboard, mice and webcams and never had a problem so I don't know how they dropped the ball so bad here. With no hyperbole if I could rate 0/5 I would.

Very good sound for the price, but volume control is poor
I bought this to replace my speakers when I noticed that the power supply wire was damaged. I decided to go for USB powered speakers as I don't use the computer for serious listening and would rather reduce the number of transformers connected to my plug sockets! Also my other computer came with similar speakers and I am quite happy with those. They could also come in handy for those people who use a laptop. The speakers are entirely USB driven, using digital audio output as well as power from the USB port and they give a surprisingly good and crisp sound, though you can't expect to get deep bass sounds. No installation was required apart from plugging in. The main criticism of the unit is that it does not have a volume control knob or an on/off facility, but instead relies on three knobs to raise, lower or mute the sound, operating directly on the windows sound control in discrete jumps. As a result you cannot fine-tune the volume without accessing the relevant control on the computer, and you can't turn it off when you don't need any sound. Also I am not keen on the light advertising its digital sound, which is always showing. When the unit arrived there was a a fault in the speaker on one side, evidenced by a slight rattle when playing deeper sounds at any volume, so I had to have it exchanged. I am sure Logitech should have done a better job with their quality control. Fortunately Base were very good and gave me a replacement without any quibbles. So overall I would give this 3 stars. Hopefully Logitech will address the issues mentioned, but who knows?
