Good value
I wasn't expecting too much from this set due to it being pretty cheap, but it's actually good quality. I appreciate the blending stumps being thin, as most sets come with a single thick one which makes it difficult to blend precisely.Overall, I do recommend this set.

Great for starters
This has everything you'll need if you're new to using charcoal. Great price and a nice presentation tin to keep everything in.

A return to drawing
This Set was just what I needed for portrait drawing, everything in it that was required. The pencils are ideal for more precise work where the charcoal sticks I use a lot for blending. Ideal set for anyone coming back to art and even a more accomplished artists. Good price for an impoverished artist!

all u need to start charcoal drawing
Husband has recently took up charcoal drawing again after a very big gap and wanted a full set that wasn't to expensive just in case he got fed up again and gave up but at the same time he wanted something that was good quality and didn't leave scratches or marks all over the paper and he could get the smoothness and softness that he wanted. This set did the trick a great price and everything he needed including a rubber blocks of charcoal as well as pencils and a white pencil for fine detail etc etc. He was mmore than happy with this item for the price

Great Starter Set
I normally use watercolours or coloured pencils for my art, but wanted to try a different medium, but didn’t want to spend a large amount until I knew this medium was for me. So this compact little kit, containing most of the requirements for charcoal drawing was perfect. So I would recommend for anyone, like me, starting off on this new discovery.

Great quality and value.
I’d never used these pencils before just the stick, thought I’d give them a go, all the things you’d need loving using them. Great results already so can’t wait to see what I can do with more practice

Contents good but tin like foil so no use for storage
this is a good starter set with a reasonable selection for the price but the tin is so thin and poorly made, you cannot transport the set in it as it springs open and flexes even under its own weight. Charcoal stuff is messy so without a tin its likely to make a huge mess, having a compartmented tin seemed the best way to buy these items, not a bad buy, but not a set.
