Great toy for learning numbers
First off this is definitely for 3Y+, as they indicate, because the pieces are pretty small and could be a choking hazard. That being said, the design is so straightforward and simple - I love it, I think that's great for introducing numbers and counting to little ones.I like that they give you some operators (plus, minus, equals) for when the kiddos get a bit more advanced. They also provide some good examples and activities to do for various ages which is great.I do wish they put a few more of each colored dot in the package in case you do something like 8+3= and then you need 11. This forces you to use a mixture of red and blue...not really a deal breaker but having at least a couple more of each color would have been nice.Lastly, it comes with a cotton or canvas drawstring bag that's actually fairly nice and holds everything well.

Rolling Pieces
Nice math manipulative. Three to four stars, but could have been better.Likes: Solid concept design, Number chips are clear, easy to handle and read; pieces are smooth and well-finished; includes (paper) instructions; durable draw-string canvas bag.Dislikes: Only one numeral 0 and 10 chips (two each of other single digits), Only one chip each for +, -. =. Bamboo plywood for the boards looks mismatched with only average quality workmanship. But my biggest dislike is the round, cylindrical counting pieces. They roll everywhere. I would venture that at least one piece will be lost the first day in use. Had these counting pieces been rectangular or oval, they would be easier to handle and not roll off the table, under the desk, or across the floor.Still recommended due to its educational value for kinesthetic learners, but with the caveats listed above.

Lovely and simple math toy
My first impression of this toy was how well constructed it was. Everything is made of wood so it’s sturdy, and since it requires no batteries, it really is a toy that I can see lasting for a while. The toy itself is very educational. There are many ways to play with it. For my 25 month old, we are working on simple counting, but as he gets older, I can incorporate things like odd/even numbers, math, etc. The pegs come in red and blue, which will be useful when we start learning of numbers greater than 10. They are also easy for his hands to grip.I do wish it came with some extra pegs. It comes in exactly 10 red and 10 blue pegs. Everything fits very nicely in the included bag. I just hope we don’t lose any!

Educational and fun
This wooden counting peg board set is a great educational tool for young children. All materials are high quality and all pieces are well-made. Children will learn counting and the value of each number by using the manipulatives (pegs and numbers). They can visualize “how much” is each number (bonus that the set includes a “0”). Children can then add amounts together by combining pegs on the board. Subtraction can be visualized by removing the pegs from the board. It is good to have 2 boards so counting up to 20 can be demonstrated. This counting peg board provides a “hands-on” learning opportunity. The included drawstring bag is perfect for easy storage and transport of this set. This would be a great gift for a preschool or kindergarten age child.

Numeracy Skills and Math Manipulatives
Pros:- Wooden set with number coins and wooden disks- Can use for counting, introduction to addition and subtraction- Aesthetically simple and attractive wood set- Comes with a canvas storage caseThings to consider:- This is a smaller set. Would not recommend for younger ones that still place items in their mouth.- This is great for center time for math students with guided cards

Alternative use ahead!
Okay, so I have a small plein air watercolor box that I created from another "baby play laptop" that had the perfect sizes for sketching/painting on the "screen" section and on the "keyboard" section there was a well that was perfect for a watercolor tin. This peg board frame just fit so well with the baby laptop and with the round depressions in both sides, I decided to use this as the watercolor "tin." I used a very small chisel on the four corners both inside and out and glued in small neodymium magnets to hold the watercolor "tin" together as well as hold it to the baby laptop "keyboard" area. I did apply epoxy to the wood so that the paint would not seep in and stain the wood as well. It is a cute baby's toy and I am sure it will be a fun thing for little people, but for me, it works as my watercolor tin!

Really good to teach maths. good quality construction
This has a very good quality of construction and its very simple idea to teach children about the first concepts of maths. The kids like it very much and we can really get into the quantity vs logical description of numbers. it's worth it

Buena calidad

Great maths set
Quickly delivered, great quality (smooth wood, paint holds good after a few uses), easy for my almost 3yo to hold pegs and understand how to use them, easy to carry around. The bag is very useful and the boards and pegs fit nicely in it. Definitely recommend it!

Molto bello e ben fatto
