UNBELIEVABLY GOOD!!These looked ideal to replace the dead magnets in my welding supports (Strong Hand Tools). The dimensions are the same; thought I would have to drill out the holes a little, but turned out that I didn’t, so perfect!They are incredibly strong magnets (stronger than the originals)! So much so, they are hard to get apart if you let them get together! 😂 Brilliantly packaged too. I will definitely buy more.

Genuine N42 magnets. Unlike other magnets that I’ve purchased these are the genuine article. They have a bright chrome finish and are very powerful.

Bought two of these to use in a pressure relief valve in a cyclone/vacuum combination, but at the last minute decided on a steel receptacle that doesn't actually need a relief valve.However, they are very strong magnets for the money and I would think they would have served their purpose admirably had I used them. They do come with warnings on how to handle them, which given their strength was helpful.

Great product, but by their nature are very fragile, so take care! I broke one as I was clumsy for a second. It leapt through the air and hit the other magnet and snapped in two. My fault.

I bought two sets. One set broke as soon as I inboxed it. In the first ten seconds. The other set I was hopeful was going to be stronger. I was sure it must have been a flaw in the first set. I took the other set to the kitchen to show it to my flatemate and try it on the cupboard door. I dropped it on the floor. One of the two disks broke in half. How are they going to resist to a door closing repeteadly maybe with speed due to the magnet attraction if it can’t survive a drop?

Used this to close a hidden door in my bar - I overtightened them the first time around and they split, which was my own fault. Ordered more and the magnets work well. Good product, which came well protected from the fairly strong magnet inside and great value.

These are BRILLIANT. Many many times stronger than a competitor's equivalent and wonderfully packaged. The reviews that mention their brittleness are most likely not experienced with rare earth magnets. The hole is convenient for fixing but you're absolutely not going to be able to screw them down hard with a metal screw, they'll just shatter. Treat them like ferrite and you won't go far wrong; be gently with them and use nylon screws.

I needed to fix the top onto a lampost I made and didn't want to drill holes for screws or catches that could leak and let water in, so I used these magnets. They did the job really well, they are neat and strong enough to hold the top on in any weather.
