I really like the compact easy to use style

Took me ages to find something for the right price for my purpose (casual travel and weekend use) the reel feels amazing in hand and you can tell it's high quality by the feel as does the rod I have rated 4 stars for now as mine has been shipped with the rubber stopper from the bank being detached and have contacted support I will update my review once I hear back and the issue is resolved as if not for the issue I would have given 5* (would be nice to prewind the spare reel as this would help appeal to a more beginner market)Edit: support has replied same day (Sunday) and offered to send me a replacement part excellent service excellent product.

Seems perfect so far , struggled to find a rod to handle sea fishing that will fit in my travel case but this will definitely for , yet to be seen if it will cast out a 3oz lead on a flapper rig as it did have quite a bit of bend in it and it's very light actioned for a medium rod but hopefully it will do the job !

Requested this for Christmas and it looks & feels like an excellent rod, the rod fits together extremely well and has a nice progressive bend in it with some strength left in reserve in the bottom section for playing a bigger fish. The reel has a nice smooth action.The customer service was excellent, I contacted them to buy an additional tip to complete my requirements, this arrived 3 days after I contacted them.I cannot wait to use it when we go camping in February and also in Florida and Lanzarote later in the year.

Perfect for holiday and travel fishing. Case is excellent and fits easily in a roll aboard small suitcase. You could even fit your little bits of tackle in the case too.

As of writing it seems as though 6 of the 7 reviews on this rod are by people with no other review history. I wish I'd noticed that beforehand. I was new to fishing when I bought this rod and needed it for a month long camping trip. In the end it did the job pretty well and I caught lots of fish, but having since become better acquainted with other equipment it does feel fairly cheap. Whether that's reflected adequately in the cost I'm not sure, but I'll probably be looking for a better one next summer.

Awesome bit of kit! Way better than a telescopic rod. I take it wherever I get deployed too and have fished all over the world and caught some amazing fish with this rod!At home its Brilliant on the mackerel throwing a spinner out to a good distance on the pier or on the boat dropping feathers to catching some weird and tropical fish in the far east!If you use the shorter glatt tip you can reel in some pretty large fish if you play them properly and it gets a lot of looks and interest from fellow fishermen when you turn up and start assemmbling it!I would reccomend it 100%

Honestly, was shocked at the quality vs. price on this unit. It’s the strongest and most sturdy take down rod I have ever seen. The reel is excellent as well and it comes with an extra spool. I took it to Bass Pro to get it spooled and the old guy helping me, literally took down the name and info. and said it was much better than anything they sold in that category, and could not believe the price. Just got to Greece with it, and it traveled beautifully in my small backpack. I plan on using it today, and it will be perfect for the semi-light in-shore fishing I plan to do. I liked it so much I bought my son in law one who will be meeting us soon. Thanks Rigged and Ready, and Amazon for having it.

seit 3 Monaten im Einsatz und ich bin immer noch sehr zufrieden mit der Rute und der Rolle.Keinerlei Fehler oder das irgendwas abbricht, alles super. Die Rute mit der weichen Spitze ist perfekt für Forellen. Schöne Aktion, nicht zu weich, nicht zu Hart. Preis und Qualität stimmt.Die Rolle hat anfangs ein klein bisschen gehackt beim Bügel umklappen was sich aber nach kurzer Zeit im Gebrauch gegeben hat.Kann die Combo nur empfehlen.

The rod broke twice!!!! First time when I was casting and then I made it work to keep using it, second time was when I was setting the hook on a fish. Broke at the thicker part at the base. Very poor product with rod.The reel and case very good no complaints.Sucked a lot when being at a fly-in fishing lodge. Not ideal.Will not buy again. Also since I was at the fly in fishing camp, missed my return date to returned item. Out 150.00 and fishing at a fishing lodge.
