Great bag but fell short of space for major kit.
Great starter kit accommodation at the price. The bag is built sturdy and is made of premium material as a "camera bag" should be made. The padding and cushioning is on point. As a statement- at par, heck, even better than lowepros at this cost. Only thing I felt short of is space. The compartments are just alright for a typical starter kit but nothing to grow into. Just perfect for travel and not for everyday use or proper shoot setup accommodation. With a few accessories and lights and cards and minor accessories, the bag is overloaded. Definitely not for pros unless you are searching for something especially for a vacation. Talking about the build quality, it's fantastic. Way waaaayyy better than typical sub 3k camera bags. I've used Lowepros, Vanguards even Canon's bags and this is upto the level. Well thought out design and practical nooks and crannies. Definitely a good purchase for typical travel shoot or even a starter kit. But not so much space for accessories. However, my list of carry in the bag is- Nikon Z5 body, Nikkor S24-70 F4 with hood, Nikkor S 85 F1.8 with hood. FTZ adapter, Card case, 1ND 2CP filters with casings, charger, power bank, cables, a speedlight with trigger kit, an LED light with two batteries and chargers. That's it. That's full to the brim, not even an inch spared & finally a tripod on the outer segment where typically a water bottle is placed. As for waterproofing, haven't tested it out yet. For damage protection, I guess it can handle a minor mishandling or a tripod hook fall or at best, a table top roll off. I use this kit for my astro/landscape outings so very niche carry on the go kit but not enough for my main kit. Worth every penny, if your are very specific about your requirements but not suitable for full on pro kits.Final verdict- You simply cant get anything better for the purpose than this at 1.4k

No compartment management
Bag is over all good. The quality and design is nice..It feels like its a copy of Wildcraft Shutter Bug but smaller in size.I returned it because it doesn't come with any warranty except 30 days return policy.

Very good option for kit lens and/ or some prime lens owners
Very good option for kit lens and/ or some prime lens owners. This could have been a better and a wonderful option if it would have been like a inch or two bigger on all sides. I have a Canon EOS Rebel SL3/ 200 D mark II/ 250D/KISS which is a compact size entry level camera. I also have 3 lenses 18-55, 50mm prime and 75-300, with very limited accessories like a cleaning kit, charger one addons card and few filters. To keep them all I had to literally push them in. Design is very compact, product is sturdy, it is good with lots of pockets but of little use to me. I think if it would have been a inch or two bigger on all sides would have been great for me. One more good thing it also comes with a reain cover...quality of this is better than the one I have bought in replacement.... I feel if this has been a little bigger I would have kept this for sure...

Well designed but poor quality
It's well designed for carrying camera + laptop. But stitches are so bad that one of the straps came out in just 10 days after I bought and ruined my trip. I'm not able to use it as a backpack anymore until I get everything restitched.I would not recommend to buy this. But if you buy, ensure you get it restitched before you carry it outside

Convenient but issue in rains
The product itself is convenient. The design allows me to easily keep my canon 1500D with 55-250mm zoom lens attached, along with 18-55mm, charging stuffs, hood, and memory cards. It allows easy retrieval of the cam during travels.Major con: I took the bag and covered with rain cover on a bike ride and received a medium rain fall. On reaching the destination I found a lot of moisture inside the bag, covering my eye piece and the LCD screen.

Well designed bag with enough space for lenses
If you have been struggling to decide whether a sling bag, backpack or normal side bag would be better, you'll probably like this. I wanted a non flashy bag that I can travel with so tried sling bags but the first one I ordered from Amazon basics wasn't very comfortable. It was costlier but looked bad and squarish and the zippers made hell of a lot of noise. The straps weren't very adjustable and it ended up putting a lot of weight on my shoulder and messing up your shirt. This one is perfect - the straps are comfortable, can be loosened and the quick release strap holds it in place till you need to take the camera out. Swinging the bag to the front to take the camera out is quite easy as well.I was a little worried that it won't fit my 70-300 mm lens but it fit in the top compartment which has an elastic strap as well. Right now I have a Nikon d3300 with 35 mm lens and hood attached along with the 18-55 kit lens, 70-300 mm zoom lens and a small gopro in the bag.Unlike the official pics the camera doesn't fit so snugly as most cameras are smaller than the camera shown in the pic but it doesn't move around because it's the other end that faces downwards so gravity holds it in place. It also has a raincover and a side strap and net pouch which can hold a small tripod or a selfie stick. Here's some pics so you can see for yourself.I would say buy. Only reason not to is if you have a more lenses or if they are very heavy. The sling makes the weight come on a single shoulder. Seems fine to me as the bag is very light but with all lenses including the zoom in, I'll need to see if its uncomfortable after a while. It's also got some nice pockets to hold lens caps, memory cards, etc.

Good design, but quality is not good.
Had a similar experience as another customer, where the handle broke within a week, under very normal usage.Frankly, didn’t expect such low-quality from Amazon Basics product.

Irritating squeak!
I had to send this sling bag back to Amazon.Although it was very light and held my camera securely, for some strange reason it kept making an annoying squeaking noise when I walked.I realised that the plastic buckles that hold the sling strap to the bag was rubbing onto the plastic hoop it attaches to and this is what made the horrible noise.I gave the bag away in the end, it was driving me insane,But for the price it is fine if you wear headphones while walking :)

Compact Bag for Traveling Light. User Care is Essential.
For the price, you get a lot of camera bag from Amazon Basics. Although the camera sling bag has some drawbacks, it's perfect for carrying a DSLR or mirrorless camera, three lenses if you have one attached, plus other accessories. You won't be able to fit a long lens inside, but certainly compact zooms and small-to-medium lenses will fit in two padded compartments on either side of the larger body one. I love that I can switch from an over-the-shoulder bag to one against my stomach with a clip, but that's also where this bag can get dangerous for your camera equipment. If you open it with it slung over your shoulder, your camera can tumble out. The only safe access is when it is positioned in the front of your body. Because the padded lens compartments need that same flap to be fully opened to access them, you risk having one fall out while you're reaching for the other. You have to know this bag well before going out in the field or traveling with it.I like the zippered front pocket where I can place extra batteries and memory cards for easy access. The padded top compartment can fit yet another lens (although it will be loose and less secure) or other items such as a lens hood, flash, or lens cleaning supplies. The top compartment also has an inner, zippered pouch good for memory cards. This is definitely not a professional's bag unless that professional doesn't need a lot of gear for the day. But for serious amateurs like me, it provides a good way to carry gear while keeping it safe. You just have to be extremely careful with how you access equipment.
