I’ve been using Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Whey for about two months now, and it’s genuinely one of the few supplements I can say I’m really happy with. The first thing that won me over is how effortlessly it mixes. Whether I shake it up in water, stir it into milk, or blend it into a smoothie, there are almost no clumps, no weird gritty bits, just smooth protein every time. That kind of reliability in texture is rare, and it makes taking it feel less like a chore and more like a treat. Taste-wise, the Double Rich Chocolate flavour has become my go-to. It’s rich without being sickly sweet. There’s enough chocolate flavour that I enjoy it straight after workout, but it doesn’t dominate the drink or leave that chemical aftertaste that some powders do. For those days when I want something milder, mixing it with almond milk or adding a splash of cocoa powder gives it a satisfying twist. Performance has been equally impressive. Since adding it to my post-gym routine, I’ve noticed my recovery times are better. My muscles ache less the next day, and I seem to maintain energy a bit more consistently through intense workouts. Also, the macros are solid, 24g protein per scoop, very low sugar and fat, so it helps me hit my goals without feeling like I’m sacrificing flavour or comfort. Also, in very sensitive stomachs, the whey concentrate portion may cause minor bloating if taken on an empty stomach. But for me, those downsides are very minor compared to everything this powder tends to excel at. All in all, this has become a staple for my training days, mornings, and even baking recipes when I need a protein boost. If you want a reliable, tasty, mixable whey that actually seems to help, this is definitely one to grab.

Good price, it’s the best tasting protein you can get in my opinion but I’ve had to go to a vegan alternative as I get bad skin from the whey.

I started taking protein supplements a year ago alongside a simple strength and cardio fitness program I was following to lose weight. During that time I think I've gone through about 3-4 different brands of protein powder of varying flavours and quantities. First of all while I mostly agree with the sentiment that this is a supplement as opposed to a bowl of Nesquik or a chocolate bar and so taste shouldn't be as much of a concern, if you're going to be consuming the product on a daily basis it might as well be tasty, and this brand 100% ticks that box. My one minor complaint with it it that it doesn't taste like any kind of peanut butter I've ever had - it's more of a candied chocolate flavour, comparable to a Mini-Egg or a smartie or something. I use whey powder to bulk out my morning oats and some powders don't mix well, but this seems to do just as well warm as it does cold. It is a fair bit sweeter than expected but nothing unpleasant. If you're desperate for some peanut butter protein powder like I was, this isn't necessarily going to sate that unholy need. Being fairly new to the world of supplements but extremely well-versed in the stomach punishing risks you take buying cheaper makes, I am thoroughly impressed with the complete set of proteins and BCAAs a serving of Gold Standard contains. It blends effortlessly too, mixing completely into water in a few firm shakes. As mentioned before it's a great addition to other foods or smoothies, great way to hit your surplus by mixing with porridge oats. It's easy on the stomach too, without any of the bloating or heavy feeling whey protein can sometimes leave you with. I will definitely be sticking with Optimum Nutrition from this point onwards. Does everything it needs to, decent price point, true quality.

Love it! It mixes well, tastes great, and isn't sickly sweet. I'm not a fan of sweet things and this is just right.

This stuff was so tasty. Made me feel full in the mornings and lunch time. Be careful though, I thought I never got a scoop with it but you do, its just planted at the bottom and I didn't know till half way down with a soup spoon lol. Honestly though people, its popular for a reason, this flavour was ok but didn't taste exactly like it says but it wasn't a bad taste so still happy. Mixes well too in water or milk. The durability of the case is premium too, nice and study, there was no leaks or damage. It was very smooth both mixing and swallowing.

Very very good flavour, not artificial taste in my opinion. One of my favorite brands for protein powders, will definitely purchase again!!!

El producto en sí está bien. Esta es una gran proteína que es lo suficientemente barata como para tomarla una o dos veces al día para satisfacer sus necesidades dietéticas y de proteínas. Ya sea en agua o leche, se mezcla muy fácilmente, nunca tuve problemas con los grumos al usar una botella mezcladora. Nunca tuve un problema con la hinchazón o la emisión de gases proteicos y cuando lo tuve noté que no estaba tan dolorido por mucho tiempo cuando usé estas cosas. Dicho esto, en cuanto al sabor, esta cosa es bastante buena con el agua. Podría atragantarme con malta de chocolate en agua, pero la masa del sabor bizcocho tiene un sabor químico horrible en el agua que puedo describir mejor como sabor a metal. Esta proteína siempre se mezcla bien, está prácticamente garantizado. No sabes qué tan conveniente es hasta que obtienes una proteína que necesita 20 batidos fuertes para deshacerse de todos los grumos. Además, las cucharadas son realmente pequeñas para la misma cantidad de gramos de proteína que todos los demás. Odio tener que beber grandes cantidades de líquidos, hace que tomar proteínas sea horrible, eso indica que esta proteína siempre se mezcla bien, no es una molestia. La mantequilla de maní con chocolate no era buena, por alguna razón se siente como si tuviera menta, refresca mi boca y no sabía a mantequilla de maní. La deliciosa fresa era diferente de cuando la probé por primera vez. Creo que cambiaron la fórmula. Usando una licuadora con doble chocolate rico, chocolate con leche extremo o moka. -2 cucharadas de suero -5 gramos de cacao en polvo sin azúcar -12g chocolate pbfit -3/4 taza sin azúcar con una leche de almendras batida con proteínas -Hielo Todavía le doy excelentes calificaciones al producto porque hace lo que se supone que debe hacer y puede encontrar Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard en casi cualquier lugar que venda suplementos.

Ho provato queste proteine in polvere per un paio di settimane e ne sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso. Si sciolgono facilmente in acqua o latte senza lasciare grumi, e il gusto cioccolato è davvero gradevole, senza quel retrogusto artificiale che spesso si trova in altri prodotti. Ottimo profilo nutrizionale, con un buon apporto proteico e pochi zuccheri. Ideali per il post-allenamento o come spuntino proteico. Consigliate sia per chi si allena regolarmente, sia per chi cerca un'integrazione semplice e veloce.
