This works, but...
Better pain relief than Voltarol or Ibuprofen gels, but you really need to work out where to place the pressure pad, so do your research before to make sense of the instructions. Is it comfortable? Yes, for the job it is doing (stretching the muscle that's making the tug on the lateral epicondyle, so slightly counterintuitively, lessening the tug and relieving the pain), but there's a pressure and a tightness. Compared to "tennis elbow" does it "hurt" - as said, better pain relief. Stretch is good, but while not Popeye, I do have larger forearms (used to race in rowing boats), and for me, the "ideal" place for the bar is not short of, but either on or slightly past the point where the hook-side of the Velcro starts - can go on or past, but there's a little more stiffness past it. I've read that the band can and does stretch, so reckon on mine becoming less on the cusp. I've not a clue why I developed tennis elbow - I didn't even watch Wimbledon this year. But I did get it, and it is a pain in the... elbow (and really pesky). I've dug into it, and would also recommend looking at deep tissue massage of the forearm muscles that this device works on as an alongside active response. Also, spot what aggravates it, and use something like this device for when you're doing it. I suspect using a knife (in the kitchen, I do like to debone a leg of lamb), or riding my motorcycle (am thinking to reset the handlebar's position). But I do recommend this device as an affordable tactic - just make sure you are placing the pad in the right place below the pain (you can test it - place it and pick up a full kettle; it should hurt a lot less when the pad is in the right place).

Improved my tennis elbow pain
I bought this after my physiotherapist told me to get these for my tennis elbow(s). I bought this one and one from another manufacturer. I was sceptical about how this product would work but it does. Prior to this I would wake in the morning with arm stiffness and pain, but since wearing this the pain has been massively reduced. The strap is easy to use with one hand and its made of soft, washable, breathable fabric so it doesn't chafe the skin. The compression part is approx 2 inches by 1 inch with a depth of about 7 or 8 mms which means its comfy with enough compression to push down on the painful area. I've given it an overall 4 star for 2 reasons. Firstly, I would prefer it if the compression part was covered in fabric against the skin, rather than just the foam pad. Secondly, the bit of fabric behind the metal buckle is slightly short therefore chafes my skin slightly, but its not too bad and I can cope with it. Altogether I would recommend this product. The product was well wrapped and arrived very quickly, so I'd give the seller 5 star if I could.

Simple and Surprisingly Effective
I've been really surprised by the effectiveness of this product as I was skeptical but desperate when I bought it. I have Golfer's Elbow/RSI type problems when typing. I can't rest my arm as my income comes from audio typing and had moved from suffering an annoying ache to real pain. I only wear the band when typing as I can avoid the painful movements away from the keyboard. It does not stop the problem but it reduces the pain to a mild discomfort - amazing. You can check if this will work for you by simply gently pressing down with two fingers on the area of your arm recommended in the advert (about 1 to 1 & 1/2 inches below the crook of your elbow). If this helps with your freedom of movement then get yourself one of these - it saves walking around with two fingers pressed into your offending arm. The band is very comfortable as you don't need to keep it too tight and it's easy to forget you are wearing it.Simple solution to an unpleasant situation.

Friction burn!
Idea is good with a pressure pad and elasticated band to stop slippage but the pad caused friction marks that I didn't feel at the time and after a 12 hour shift I found that I had a 2 inch friction burn but perhaps wearing for long periods wasn't my best decision. The strap certainly works well, its good quality and mine has been in the washing machine several times without being ruined although I would not advise anything other than a warm wash.If this review has been helpful in any way please click the yes helpful icon.

Yep, it works - but you need to make sure it's fitted properly and the Internet is your friend here.
I have 'tennis elbow' which has got bad enough to make me look at ways of easing the pain. Resting is not an option, sadly, as I'm self-employed and use a mouse/keyboard much of the day. Ice packs help. A vertical mouse helps. But the pain remains and my GP suggested I try a compression band. So here I am, and the Bracoo seems to have the best overall reviews while not being the cheapest option. The most important thing with one of these is fitting it properly, and that's not immediately obvious as the 'instructions' are about as useful as a chocolate teapot. As is often the case, the Internet is your friend. A quick search for how to fit a tennis elbow band soon found a video by a physio that details exactly how to fit it, and test that it's working. The latter, testing before and after, is vital. If the pain of, say, lifting a kettle, isn't eased after you've fitted the strap then it's not in the right place. It took a bit of trial and error on my part, but I now have it in the right place for me and it does work. Basically you locate the pain by doing something that triggers it, then experiment with the strap anywhere from 4cm to 10cm down and the 'pad' on the pinky finger side of the arm. When fitted correctly it doesn't rub on the inside bend of the elbow, nor does it cut into the arm (if it does it's too tight, so loosen it off a little).Does it get rid of the pain completely? No.Does it reduce the pain and make using the arm more manageable? You betcha. How long it will last remains to be seen, but it certainly feels well made and there is no evidence of shoddy stitching just waiting to fall apart for example. The elasticity of the strap is good, and the velcro fastener long and strong. I reckon paying the extra for a good quality item here will, hopefully, pay off in not having to replace it after a month.

The best I've used. Seems to offer solid compression support.
I've suffered with tendonitis for months now. I've had a couple of these types of brace. Without going into detail, the others I tried failed dramatically after just a few days use. The main issues were fastening and the compression pad. They all use Velcro fastening - after a few days the flexing of my forearm would pop open the Velcro rendering the whole brace useless. This is bad enough, but the compression pads on all others never retained their shape and became quite flat. Useless. Now onto this item. Firstly, I ordered 2 because I expected one to wear out after a few days/weeks. Happy to say that I'm still on brace no.1. The Velcro is still going strong, the compression pad is firm and has kept it's shape perfectly. The arm band material is comfortable, breathable, and stretchy enough to move with you whilst still providing excellent support. Two months in and I haven't even opened the second one. Can't fault this item. Once you find the correct position on your forearm you should notice a significant reduction in pain during physical activity. Please, don't waste time with flashy neoprene, sporty-looking tenns elbow supports... this item is everything you've been looking for. High quality materials and built to last. Just hand wash it occasionally, and it should keep you going for a good long time.Excellent product, and a lifesaver for sufferers of tendonitis.

Nice piece of kit
I have been suffering from golfers elbow on and off for a while now. I had had to stop training for 12 weeks on 2 occasion lately which really make it hard to start again. I have seen a chiropractors who did administer acupuncture however she did recommend using these bands. I was sceptical at first but I have tried many other things. I can honestly say that my elbows pain now is next to nothing and I have not stop weight training. Still away to go but I would recommend to try these. I wear them right through the session not just for one particular excerise. I have been using them for a few weeks now and have felt the difference. Just a few more weeks and I believe I will back to normal. Brilliant!!

Certainly helps with the pain
I didn’t realise just how painful tennis elbow could be until I got it. Unfortunately I’ve found the only thing that really alleviates the pain completely is a steroid injection, but as you can’t have these all the time, I need something to help inbetween. This little strap is the perfect answer. As others have said, it’s best to look online to see how to position it, but basically press the pad in the place that relieves the pain the most and then pull the strap tight. The strap it quite comfy to wear when you are active during the day, but I find I need to take it off when bending the elbow constantly, e.g. writing or eating. It certainly helps reduce the pain, but doesn’t stop it completely. I was previously using an elasticated strap, but in the summer it gets too hot, and I think this strap is better. So I would recommend this product, but say that in my experience, nothing but a steroid injection takes the pain away completely. However this strap is the next best thing.

Feels very supportive, looks good too!
I’ve been suffering from golfing elbow for months, so on my GPs advice, I began looking around for a supportive brace. I’m very active, go to the gym 3 or 4 times a week and I didn’t want a bulky strap that would get hot and sweaty/uncomfortable on my arm. So, when I saw this I immediately purchased it! I’ve only done a light gym session so far in it, I found I wasn’t getting as much pain but have yet to do any heavier weights. I recommend maybe wearing this around the house for a few hours just to get accustomed to it and to get the right tightness for your situation. The support pad is literally the perfect size for golfers elbow, it really hits the right spot for me at least. I can’t speak for tennis elbow which is on the outer side of the elbow. So in short, I’m very happy with this thus far, I like how it’s smaller and still does the job, it doesn’t look look you’re going roller blading which is a plus!

Not just for athletes
I’ll admit I find most synthetic fabrics extremely annoying. This brace is much less irritating to wear than my previous drugstore brace. It’s narrower, which helps with placement near the elbow (no scratching and chaffing of my inner arm when moving) . It also has a better fabric band with softer stitching. I still use a 2”-wide slice of old cotton sock under it if I’ll be sweating or wearing it for extended periods. It has held up very well despite many hand-washings.I am not a golfer or tennis player, but I injured my arm somehow, and it just wasn’t healing. It would improve, then I’d lift a plump grandbaby or do chores, and be right back where I started. I couldn’t even hold a glass with my arm extended, and twisting motions were excruciating. After 2-3 months of pain and weakness I bought a drugstore brace. It helped the pain but was miserable to wear so I searched for an alternative. After purchasing this band, I was able to wear it more often, and after a week or two my arm was 90% healed. I now wear it only rarely, when I’ve overused my arm and feel pain.

Te smal om echt goed te werken
Het werkt, maar daar is ook alles mee gezegd.Omdat het zo smal is moet je hem strak afstellen, en dat wordt snel oncomfortabel.
