Lamy1324761 Converter, for Fountain Pens

Perfect for my new Lamy pen, so that I can use bottled ink, rather than cartridges, Delivered well packed, two days early, What more could I ask?

Works well!

Per the title, this is a perfect fit for the LAMY Studio founatin pen. It pushes solidly into the bottom of the pen and uses a screw-plunger - rather than a push-plunger - system to draw ink up from an ink bottle. Personally, I favour the push-plunger system as it's faster and to me feels better (this one is a bit clunky to use), but this type tends to hold more ink. This converter also leaves out the ball bearing agitator that some (even cheap convertes) use, and I do miss that as it keeps the ink from sticking inside. All-told, it's a fair converter but it does seem like they scrimped a bit when designing it.

After buying without realising there were differences between any fountain pen cartridge mounts, I finally settled on the correct refillable for a present I had previously bought my partner. This particular item seals on the outside as opposed to more well known brands such as Sheaffer that seal on a central spigot.

Works as expected. Fits snugly into the pen, and the twisting mechanism is smooth and consistent. This and a bottle of nice ink will always be superior to cartridges.

Easy to pick up the ink without making a mess, a perfect fit for my Lamy pen. I love the fact I no longer have to spend money on ink cartridges. My only problem is that I didn't get one sooner.

The item arrived on time, it looks and feels sturdy, would have been better if the twisting part was a little bit flat which would make it easier to turn. I have used this item only a few times and it seems to function pretty well.

Funciona bien. Se adapta también a Lamy Safari o Vista. Simples y pratico.
