My wife had a unit from a different brand that she's had for a few years and it's worked pretty well and so this Winter I decided to grab a few of these so that everybody in the family had one. These are a bit large but they work quite well. Both the wife and the kids and I have used them in a pocket with great results. It was very cold the other evening in the house and I decided because one was sitting on The dresser beside me and I didn't want to get-up-and-get a heater to use it under the covers to add a little bit of heat while I was laying in bed. To use it under the covers to add a little bit of heat while I was laying in bed. I used it for 3 or 4 hours before going to sleep and turned it off before I went to sleep. In the morning I woke up early and read for a while in bed before getting up and so turned it back on for a couple of hours then. It still had a battery charge and was still going when I turned it off on getting up. I'm very pleased with how long and how warm it was. I couldn't use it any higher than the 2nd setting and even that was pretty hot, mostly I used it on the 1st setting. I'm can stand fairly hot stuff but the 3rd setting on that is so hot that it was not just uncomfortable but painful. I'm not sure what the expected lifespan is on these things we don't use it daily and I know that heating up lithium battery packs Is harmful to their overall lifespan, But so far the one that my wife bought years ago is still working so I expect that these will continue to work for quite a few years. If they die before I think they should I'll come back and update this review.

The heating was not as fast as that of a Beskar purchase that I made prior to this one.The heating section is small and the item itself is bulky so my fingers don't wrap around to nicely lay on the heating pads (means that I don't feel the heat as well).It is cool that there is a flashlight option but, to be honest, there is never a scenario where I have to use it so I think it just adds extra weight and material to the item that is not needed.Overall if you have larger hands this might be a better purchase for you but not for me.

I am a baseball / soccer mom and being outside for cold games these made them so much for tolerable due to they kept me warm!

Love these hand warmers. Heat up instantly and are cozy warm. What a delightful addition to my clothing accessories all year long as I frequently have cold hands . Added bonus of being a back up phone battery!

Overall, this is a good handwarmer. I like the digital temp display, as well as the LED light. All functions are very intuitive.Two downsides: while the Amazon ad copy states a recharge time of 2-3 hours, the owners manual states 3-6 hours, and that longer figure is more accurate.I have also found that while it can get quite hot, the heat output quickly gets sucked out of the unit if your hands are quite cold. It just doesn't have reserve heat capacity/'staying power': sometimes I feel like I am warming it and it, not me!

It heats up quickly, it's a power bank as well. Poor attempt at a flashlight but it's kinda there. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
