Wildlife World Colour Camera Multispecies Nest Box

Really pleased with this purchase, I had been looking at similar camera/nestbox packages for some time but when this one turned up on a lightening deal at £44 I realised I wouldn't find better for the money elsewhere!The birdbox itself is very well built of FSC timber, quality of timber and fixings is great, nicely finished without the rough edges found on cheap bird boxes. The box is very large due to the top section housing the camera, the camera itself comes in a small wooden box so it has double protection from the elements. good quality cable and connections only lacking a USB converter which would have been useful but works fine with the included scart.Picture not amazing but more than adequate, I have found the full colour difficult to obtain as with the low light levels in the box the picture is very grey scale, it does say you can adjust the leds but haven't fiddled with that yet.Overall a good buy and I would not hesitate to recommend it.

I bought this the end of 2014 and put it up in Jan 2015 and wired it direct to the tv in my sitting room. A pair of blue tits moved in at the start of May and we've had great entertainment watching them build their nest. The quality of the box is excellent. The camera is very sharp. I had to adjust the focus on it after one of the blue tits took a dislike to it and kept attacking the lens! Would recommend better than any tv show!Update for 2017 - blue tits have nested in the box again this year. Saucy blue tit took a huge dislike to the camera constantly pecking at it this week nest building. The picture went blank on the tv...checked it today and the bird is after pecking through the black cable going to the camera and breaking the red wire. Will have to let them work away this year without being watched! Will mend the wire later in the year. Will miss watching their antics...

Chosen as a present for someone who enjoys looking at the birds in his garden.Wish I had reviewed the comments of others who were disappointed also. The cable failed in a couple of days, took advice of other comment that it wasnt worth the hassle of sending it back so purchased a new cable from a different source and the product seems to be working OK.Suspect the camera being faulty also as the security sticker had been tampered with (but how do you prove it)Cost over £140 a very disappointing item and one I would not recomend to anyone

Beautiful box. Well made..Connects to the TV really easily. Now all we need is for the birds to nest in it.

Very quick delivery, and really fantastic product. The item is really well made I am sure there will be birds nesting in the spring.
